  • the fact that kids this age are playin music they can appreciate is a wonderful thing. very well done guys =)

  • @banzaigerm Thank you! I appreciate your compliment! =)

  • I don't understand all the science around amps and guitar tones, I love Evelyn Glennie and to me your version of Little Prayer is awesome.

I really like the way the xylophone and guitar guy listen to each other, one can see all the time and effort you made to perfect this, well dome!

  • They're basically saying that while the marimba-sound is very soft and "round", the guitar-sound is really sharp. Kind of hurts your ears.

So better equipment would make it sound softer and nicer to listen to. ;-)

  • Hey I know that it's been forever since you replied to my posting haha! But thank you so much for the compliment! I did my very best to play and perfect this peace :)

  • The crappy guitar sound ruins it.. im sorry, you should get a real amp. wonderful marimba though

  • why do you need then guitar it kind of ruins it

  • That guitar tone is.....unfortunate. The original guitar part requires volume swells with either a pedal or your guitar's volume knob. More reverb needed. A clean tube amp would be pretty much necessary. You can get cheap tube amps these days. Your guitar work is so-so, but would benefit from all of the above.

  • Nice try, but unfortunately the guitar is what makes this piece, and that portion of this performance needs considerable work. As suggested previously, better amplification with some sustain would help.

  • And volume with a better more fuller sounding amplifier.

  • Your buddy on the guitar needs some reverb. Well done.
