Fedor has just fought 2 guys who were in probably all the top ten rankings going and Rogers is also in many top ten lists at the moment. The UFC HWs atm Brock has 2 big wins, Carwin 1, Cain 1, Kongo 1, Dos Santos 2, Nog and Randy are past their best by quite a margin and Mir is hit and miss.
AA, Sylvia and Rogers would be big players in that UFC HW class is they were in it the time they fought/going to fight Fedor.

Now the UFC just wants to destroy all competition they could co promote and have another fight where Andertson Silva or GSP, Lyoto, etc destroys one or more of Strike Force's champs I think they could make a massive profit as well.

Fedor has just fought 2 guys who were in probably all the top ten rankings going and Rogers is also in many top ten lists at the moment. The UFC HWs atm Brock has 2 big wins, Carwin 1, Cain 1, Kongo 1, Dos Santos 2, Nog and Randy are past their best by quite a margin and Mir is hit and miss.
AA, Sylvia and Rogers would be big players in that UFC HW class is they were in it the time they fought/going to fight Fedor.

I wasn't criticizing Fedor I was just saying that really he has done as much if not more than any other top heavy weight and ppl are saying that he has to fight top competition to be considered the best when I think he has been and is about to. I think he fought Babalu and Arona back when he was in Rings but yeah a good deal of the guys Fedor fought were top fighters at the time.

in sports you go with numbers and talent. fedor has the experience. he beat fighters on all levels. just watch the guy fight. he hits like a mule.
then there is the other thing to look at. fighters make mistakes. look at the brock/mir fights. one mistake and your submitted or knocked out. even if they faced off and one won, does it mean the victor is better?

The UFC did work with another promotion when they were desperate PRIDE payed Ricco's and Liddell's wages and at the same time they also beat some of their fighters and gave the UFC a bit of exposure in Japan.
Now the UFC just wants to destroy all competition they could co promote and have another fight where Andertson Silva or GSP, Lyoto, etc destroys one or more of Strike Force's champs I think they could make a massive profit as well.
