I listened to this song in the 1970's. I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior at a young age in the 70's. I became a Christed being at that point. Today I am the Second Coming of Christ. I can baptize in the name of the FATHER, SON, AND HOLY GHOST. I want you to walk down the aisle and tell the preacher you want to RETURN TO THE LORD AND HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. DO THIS. DO IT.
i love this song and i cant really understand why... i cant relate to it, its not popular nowadays, nobody of the people i know knows about it.... it just makes me happy :)
I love this song. One of the many many many songs my parents played during my childhood, forever infecting me with a sense of music that's mostly not from my generation. I like modern music too, but this has something special. My friends all look at me like I'm crazy though, whenver they see my playlists. They don't get it.
OMG! :O I use to listen to this song when i was 8 at school all the time :) Now im 16 & is still as great,if not, better :D Will never go old this song <3 x
i dont know why I am tearing a little... i believe in the kind of love that waits.... and now with tecnology it is easier imagine what it must have been no to know... sometimes you feel closer to someone that is in the other side of the world and sometimes the same person could be right next to you and you can feel how far away that person is.
The story is about a guy who went to jail for forging checks. After jail he wanted his love to tie a yellow ribbon for a representation of her still wanting him
My son in law is currently doing his second tour in Iraq and my daughter is expecting their first baby in June...so you can bet that yellow ribbon will be there until he gets home safe and sound!!
