@netoe 16mm has sound right on the film.  Some projectors come with speakers built in and others have connections for exterior speakers.

my God these are classics. I miss the old Bugs Bunny / Road Runner cartoons. It's kinda sad knowing when I have kids one day, they won't get to enjoy things that I had when I was younger. Like old Warner Brothers, Classic Disney, the Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, Dr. Seuss, VHS tapes, aluminum lunch boxes. The list just goes on.

They used to show Bugs Bunny cartoons on tv on saturday mornings up until the mid to late 80s. They would be packaged with a name like "Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Hour" and have a theme song. There was a point where some groups were protesting the violence in the Bugs Bunny cartoons, so the explosions were edited out. Because most joke set ups culminated with the explosion, it made for some odd viewing.

So why do cartoons have objects that are shaded differently? I've always noticed that in cartoons for objects that will move. For example, whenever some wooden board on a fence is shaded differently, it will always move or be ripped off.
