ok so can somebody explain something to me? i had to start from scratch on this game but now when im on this level the rocket launcher wont kill the chainsaw guys, whenever i shoot them with it they just get knocked down and get back up. ive even shot them with the hand cannon and they dont die, so is this just an issue with me or is it common? and to answer the question yes i do hit them

@cardan9 you probably didnt play on veteran or professional story, there (and in mercenaries) when the rec chainsaw majinnis should die, they feign their death, for some seconds, then they get up and rush towards you, no matter if you hit him with a handcannon or a rocket launcher you gotta kill it twice, thank god when he berserks he´s almost dead

@pablo4222 but the thing is i kept shooting them in the head with the hand cannon and it doesnt do anything, they just keep charging me with about 8 normal majini to back them up, ive even gone to the length of using 2 rocket launchers on them, one of them point blank

i dont know if you know the secret area to go in public assembaly once you got all the extra time bonuses, that wrecked bus, go in there and wait for all the enemies to come to you, the executioner cant get to you in there either

@TTFAFF A little tip on the Chainsaw Majini is when he starts to get up shoot him in the back with your magnum atleast once or twice then he should be dead once he gets on his feet.

Public Assembly has to be my favorite. Me and another, who was running Wesker Midnight, managed to get 80kill streaks. This map can get quite chaotic especially with all the tight quarter fights.

Don't forget that melee kills is only good when you DON'T have a bonus in progress. It's only waste of time. When you have bonus time you sholud kille as many as you can before the it's gone.

But if you don't have a bonus in progress, melee kills is a great way to collect as much time as possible AND keep your combo alive! =D

when using STARS wesker you can discard the magnum in this stage, its useless and so that you can get more shotgun ammo . its only useful when killing executors

Also, if you want to get truly high scores you really shouldn't use the Hydra as much as you do, if anything you should discard it so you can get more handgun ammo. Melee kills rule all.

I'm seeing different, STARS has more spots in the upper tiers. Mainly because the crowd control of that shottie is awesome. I don't like Midnight because that pistol annoys me as opposed to STARS which is a two shot kill 99% of the time.

STARS wesker is better for player who isn't good at headshots and doesn't care about 200000+ scores. Samurai edge does more damage than night weskers pistol so if ur not good at headshots 2 hits to the body will work, hydra is very good if you suck at aiming and wanna do lot of damage, magnum isn't so good as night weskers magnum but it isn't so much worse.

If you miss the first shot on the headshot, shoot them in the leg. It takes 2 shots on the chest up, but 3 if you shoot them in their lower limbs.

Kill all 150 enemies=level ends, you get 1000 points for every second left. So 2 mins 30 seconds left on the clock would get you an additional 150 points. 900 is absolutely f**king insane though

Unfortunately, No.

All the weapons can be found in the game and the three special weapons (Code Veronica Pistol, Hydra, Handcannon) can be unlocked by upgrading the original pistol, Ithaca, and original magnum. Otherwise there is no point of playing Mercs unless you want the Exchange Points.
