Gerald Warburg. An amateur cellist from a rich American banking family who paid for the recording to take place following a live performance in London the week before (the concert got a poor review). Cohen is magnificent, Warburg is perfectly acceptable apart from a few clumsy passages (mostly covered up) but forgetting this nit picking I reckon this performance captures the spirit brilliantly.
