theres no record for striped bass on the fly here in florida, i am determined to get that record haha too bad the stripers are bottom fish pretty much here

Lol there is no lb test fly line its #1 - 17 and 17 is about 90-120 lb test . This is probably 10-11 weight depending on there reels if they have alot of backing cap could be a lower number .

9wt is plenty. Even an 8wt will do if it will get the fly to the bass.
