hey can u plz tell me what components u used in this video i mean u used 2 capacitors, 1 resister and 2 coils but can u tell me the exact value of capacitors, resistor n the coils.....;plz plz plz..
Say... I wanted to make a Class D 5000w Mono-block Sub-woofer amplifier that would be stable even at 18V and at .25 ohms of resistance. and still safe at 11.8 V and also still creating nice , clean strong power at 12V(Like Digital Designs). Id love to know!

@strangerlover11 This crossover is designed only for the speakers used in the TriTrix system, which uses two 4 ohm woofers per cabinet wired in series for an 8 ohm load.

hello this is great i want to assemble a speaker system i have a 300 watts 10 " woofer and 60 watts tweeter both 8 ohms.... are they compatible? and may i know the exact name of parts that you've assemble in your crossover network ...thanks a lot to the video

Can i get away with just using a capacitor 4.7uf or 3.3uf ,Crossover Frequency (4000-6000 Hertz.there about) without using a inductor (coil) ? for a Bullet Tweeters sometimes i use active xover but not allways sometimes i want to to just daisy chain from the bass cabs (subs) thanks...
@SoundOut260 It is best to use the crossover design for this speaker to ensure the best performance for this specific design. It would be difficult to predict what subtle changes in the sound changing the crossover would have.
Thank you so much for your business. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
what are the exact names of all the parts that you used and can you kind of solder to ground leads to the one in the middle so you have one to go to the woofer and one to go to the tweeters
We need other video to How measure a Loudspeaker. There is no video in all youtube with this topic. The do and don`t with a mic and PC and measurement the Z, components.... and the final product. The missing more interesting part
Since it's a 2nd order x-over, positive output of tweeter x-over connects to the negative terminal on tweeter driver. 2nd order x-overs change phase for 180 degrees, so if you connect them as shown on this video you would get (theoretical) cancelation on x-over frequency (in reality it's several dBs). Invert polarity on tweeter!
very nice vid.. BTW, i'm a newbie when it comes to speakers/electronics. can you show us the proper connection for 2-way 18" subwoofer in one box up to the terminal connection for speaker wire? does 1 or 2 subwoofers needs crossover?
im planning to make my own one since loudspeaker with 18" driver is too expensive,as soon as i have enough knowledge.
ok nice job
i have a 18' empty woofer scoop cabinet
i want to place a Pyle spider woofer cost $150.00 and
a 500-700 watt low pass crossover inside the cabinet

Are the two 5.25" drivers connected in series (or parallel) on the low pass side of the crossover?
RDR75 1 year ago
@RDR75 The woofers are wired in series. hope this helps!

Very good demonstration video. I was glad to see that you explained why you oriented the inductor coils in different plains.

Would it make and difference in the sound if the coils were made of silver or gold wires? Is there a company that's ever done that?
nodealertouchesmyJag 1 year ago
do you turn your own coils?
HezekiahRashedJakson 1 year ago
@HezekiahRashedJakson No, we don't turn our own. but we do stock tons of high quality x-over parts.

People in parts express should offer this service.I mean costume made crossovers from parts express. That would be awesome.
But .Unfortunately they don't provide this service.
