you were talking about dimming of the lights. i have that problem alot with my set up, I have two audiobahn 10' with a 1500 or 2000 watt phoenix gold amp (i cant remember the wattage) and I have a .5 ferrad (spelling?) capacitor. the system pumps huge, but i get alot of dimming in my headlights, interiors etc on the big bass hits. anything you would suggest i do to remedy this? second battery, etc? would that put too much load on my alternator? thanks for any help

get an optima yellow top, or non oem battery, and at least upgrade the wiring that

connects to battery, alternator, and starter. I have an optima yellow top and blue Kicker 0 gauge wire and the dimmiing went away :) If you have the cash, upgrade the alternator if you want too.

@03grandgtramair - Yes All you need to do is download audacity and create a 60 second sine sweep from 0 to 60 cycles, and play it on your subs with an amplifier that has ALL frequencies set to pass through (open amp w/ no filters on)

Then, on one unchanged volume, listen to the song and determine at what point the song sounded "loudest" - at that moment, pause the song, and look down at the number on your head unit, that's the approximate tuning of your enclosure.
