  • Hey! it's 1985! oh wait....dammitdammitdammit.....

  • i remember when i 1st heard this song i teared up thinking about Moonie

  • do you have Let Me Down Easy

  • Thank you aint heard this for years, a real drummers song to appreciate it properly, got the vibe, I think yes

  • This is better than the sound on the LP I bought in the 80's

  • Thanks for uploading this track,I havent heard it in 20 years I heard it on a radio station and for the life of me couldn't remember who did it I just remember the DJ said it was tribute to a late drummer so for the longest time I been on hunt for it got on a Who kick tonight and just happen to stumble on it once again Thank You for uploading it!

  • but I miss "Don't Talk To Strangers" - cool song...

  • Thanks for digging up this gem of song Nothinbeter2do.

  • Awsome song from my teens, loved it!

  • as one of moonie's #1 fans....this seriously almost made me cry. Rodg really loved him...and the lyrics are beautiful, like was said, beautiful tribute to the madman <3

  • an amazing tribute to an amazingly tortured artist.....

  • @27wingnut agreed 100%

  • A necessary tune by a rock God. Thank you Roger and you're percussion crew and all the rest who paid tribute to the fallen.

  • At 3:58 Martin Chambers. Then at 4:10 it's Roger Taylor of Queen, 4:22 it's the late Cozy Powell, 4:34 is Stewart Copeland, then Zak Starkey, then at 4:59 it's Carl Palmer.

  • Stuart Copeland is the most distinct and interesting one of the lot. He comes fourth, at 4:34.

  • Who is the better drummer, Zak or his old man?

  • @braddref Zak is better than Ringo but that's probably because Kieth Moon taught Zak to play the drums.

  • WOW!! I remember when this came out. ALL the drummers at NTSU were freakin'. GREAT Track!

  • My younger brother Chris got me into the Who, I am forever grateful,,,,,Behind Blue Eyes is a tune that I will never forgive Limp Bizkit for.........Fred Durst, you will be admonished by Beelzebub in due course..........enjoy a life of burning......

  • pure power

  • great song but thumbs up if you think itd be better if keith had a solo

  • @ShortMovies15

No doubt at all on that.. but I suspect the song would never have been written had he been in a position to do so!

  • @ShortMovies15 Keith Moon was never a soloist.

  • Powerful Theme great voice Mr.Daltrey.

  • good sound. good song

  • Yea, ya know The Gingerman did indeed Lay The Thunder Down !!

  • Happy birthday keith

  • have this on vinyl played twice , once to hear then to copy onto at that time tape still have tape ,worn out as my car has a tape player need to make another copy

  • I just love the Cozy Powell wall of noise bit

  • @stashyjon Of all the drummers, only Powell and Palmer seriously drag the tempo at the end of their solos.

  • This doesn't seem to be able for purchase on iTunes - thanks - good quality sound.

  • @nomusician It's on Amazon music.

  • Thanks for upload. What a sweet track and tribute to KM.

  • Trading 4's with: Carl Palmer, Stewart Copeland, Cozy Powell, Roger Taylor (Queen) Martin Chambers, Mark Brzeziki, Zak Starky! Awesome!!

  • is it just me, or does this remind anyone of Runaway by Bon Jovi?

  • @robertaplantledzep just you

  • @robertaplantledzep That's sick, but yeah, you're right.
