Back in the early 90's I had a video camera and discovered that you can do a feedback loop if you set the camera to record, and then shoot the TV screen.
I'm pretty sure this is how the original producers of Doctor Who achieved the effect back in the 60's.
So I had this video around the house and decided that at least someone would appreciate it. That someone was you. Thanks VERY much.
My Dad just taught me how to do that, he used the same method to make an opening for his fan film many years ago. He did tell me Doctors 1-3's openings involved that
