@crzymxcndrglord: I'm going to send you a private message. There are a couple of other freeway videographers who have released much better videos, covering US 75 thru Dallas.

Great video, but Brent, the I-70/I-77 interchange in Cambridge, OH is probably, or once thought to be, the largest interchange in the world, covering over 300 acres.
to a non texan , the high five might make them shit there pants, traffic can get bad on the inner us-75 central expressway , i wish they would have considered a revirsable hov lane ,on that section , the inner city expansion in the early 90's wasnt enough
@ScrewdUPClickV2 i expect this roadway with the next 10-15 years to be demolished , and reconstructed , possibly in the new slip paver way with some managed lanes undergrade as the 635 system will be
The answer is simple. Lack of unions, cheap land and cheap acquisition costs, when purchasing existing property. An interchange like the High Five in Los Angeles would've cost something in the league of at least $500 million, after buying up all the adjacent properties, and having to pay higher labor rates.
Great video of Downtown Dallas and that impressive interchange. I used to really enjoy the opening credits on the Dallas TV show and the shots of those long bridges crossing that small stream heading into downtown:) I see you really got across the country in the last year. Was it all one LONG trip LOL?
Believe it or not, anything that I filmed, away from the west coast, was filmed in one long, 3 1/2 month road trip, between July and late October. Best time of my life!
That's great. I did something similar many years ago and did it in the middle of winter. I was on the road 5 weeks and only had about 5 days of rain or snow total. We didn't have nice cams like today and I didn't get anything decent on film. Thats my only regret.
I agree, the High Five is ridiculously impressive! However, my personal favorite is still the I-105/I-110 interchange in Los Angeles.
Be on the lookout for ScrewdUpClickV2 on YouTube; he's set to release his own US 75 video in the next day or two; the quality of his video is guaranteed to be better than mine, as he recorded yesterday with sunny skies, has better image-stabilization on his Sony HD, and has a better suspension vs. my vehicle.
in my opinion .. the us-75 view treats you to the leve 5 view.. how ever the 635 view i think im more impressive to show the enormous size of it .. lol i hate to say it , but i gotta agree with you both
. OK being originally from dallas tx.. this freeway is perhaps the greatest stretch of urban freeway in the dfw metroplex , and possibly the state .. that being said , i appreciate the love bro , thanks .. amazing video . tx-spur 366 is a excellent view of downtown , in the future that may be converted to i-345 as ground is broken on thetrinity river freeway project entension west of downtown dallas ..
When was this shot that there was so little traffic, lol?

Do you have any other Texas videos?

It always amazes me how Texas has such awesome roads, despite being such a tax-averse state!

I wish I did, as I was there for 3 days this summer. Fortunately, YouTube member, ScrewdUpClickV2, has Houston VERY well covered.

That High Five interchange is spectacular. Damn good engineering right there.
5 star!

US 75 is still one of the worst commutes in the DFW area, due to the explosive growth to the north, Plano, Garland, even all the way up to McKinney...
The Dallas High Five probably beats every single interchange in Houston in impressiveness!

@aswchris I think it beats every single interchange in all of Texas in that respect.
