  • i love playing with the mpc when i'm drunk

  • tek thinks he is hard i use to fuck him in the ass till it look like a pink sock hanging out his but

  • Real music has real instruments, not a plastic box with some buttons...

  • @somesowa If you knew anything about Hi-Tek you would know that for a lot of his beats he does use real instruments.

  • @somesowa trolling

  • @somesowa

you ain't got a open mind, do you?

  • @somesowa I guess you've never heard DJ Shadows album "Entroducing". Check it out before you prejudge electronic instruments, I don't think you'd be disappointed. Peace.

  • @somesowa dr. dre using real instruments...why u must hate if you dont know a shit!!! so "FUCK Y'ALL, all of y'all; if y'all don't like me, BLOW ME!" by *Dre* -.-

  • @OriHariSoseBari dre is wack. industry as fuck. have you seen that new shit hes got out? gay. the chronic still gets play in my ride though. anything after that can see that garbage can.

  • MPC HEADS STAND UP

  • what the fuck?

  • That MPC3000LE aint no fucken joke

  • tek is one of the best producers bar fuckin NONE. How many of yall out there mikin your own drums to chop up for a kit!? I AM LOL. It dont take much, you just gotta have the vision & then utilize Your resources. @ tha pawn shop a snare is cheap. then you go from there... Even it you buy a whole kit, you made the "kits" you make beats wit feel me? So yeah, Tek is one of the best producers that WE HAVE HEARD OF. Cuz theres alot of us out here... One.

  • ? hi tek didnt forget where he comes from i hate fucking corny underground lovers not everything underground is good alot of it is underground cuz it sucks..and even though most mainstream is garbage don't knock hi tek..he hasnt changed at all

  • Hi-Tek Okay its just he forgot where he came from.

  • @URBANNEWZ How did he forget where he came from??? He's making the same music he's always made. He's still doing the same style that made him what he is today. He still rocks with Kweli, Mos, etc. So what are you talking about?

  • calm down.....

  • tek is still one of my favs and an inspiration to me everyday in this game

  • I thought Hi Tek and G Unit had money. Why are they holdin this recording session in a Garage Apartment?

  • That sample sounded very nice pitched down.

  • hi-tek keep the real shit alive man!!!

  • if it sounds great im gonna listen it..!!

dont care if its a sample or not..

    and this sample sounds CRAZYYY!!!!!!

  • in my opinion, if you produce a track without chopping samples...... it is wack to me. just my opinion. not all of it i guess, but overall wack. CHOP! PRESERVE THE MUSIC!

  • What song is sampled here? Don't know? Until you figure it out you have nothing to say about not chopping samples. Half the art form we call sampling is digging deep enough to sample anything you choose. there are no rules to art, and it doesn't matter if that's wack to you.

  • amen!

  • ok, to yalsumhaters.... scott storch was all over the roots, he's one of the best keys players in hip hop, and he's a musical genius...

maybe he sold out, ye, doin shit with 50 and whoever else you mentioned but he's still ill... and same with Tek... and they're both producers... all this nonsense with instrumentalists... dumbasses

  • agree with storch bein one of the best keys player, but as a producer he, sucks.. hes good beatmaker (there is a diffrence), he can make that good melody, but he sucks at mixing, mastering and makin whole track, hes just a melody guy, he could make a killa duo with dre or timbo (still dre is a pretty good example)

  • hi tek will kil scott storch have you ever really heard reflection eternal and i mean really heard it through the propper head phones. Its chronic 2001 type classic. and he does Not just use samples. Scott storch's songs do come out good, but u gotta think he had a ton of money to start with there is an engineer at ever session and for quit a few of his credits all he did was supply the sounds, not even the parts played just the sounds.

  • anthony white - could it be magic

  • scott storch is whats wrong with producers. all that talent doesnt weight out. he called timbaland a nigga. produced paris n brooke... n both albums flopped! hi tek is well respected by anybody in hip hop and has a large list of bangers on many hit records. and to say he only uses samples means yal dont kno shit bout hi tek he plays bass/ guitar/ drums/keyboard etc... both hi tek and scott storch are technically producers by term but tek is more creative, jus as skilled n didnt sell out....

  • y'all funny with these comments- "instrumentalist/beatmaker" are just that, beatmakers....

a "Producer" by definition is a composer/ songwriter. Someone who makes instrumentals and write songs. Storch and Hi-Tek are both Producers by definition...

  • scott storch legendary ha!...people throw the word producer around too much! scott storch is an instrumentalist not a producer... and furthermore how is he legendary as a producer? the only albums he fully produced himself was brooke hogan and paris hilton lol...your a fuckin idiot...

  • scott is a producer he makes songs. just cause he doesnt sample doesnt make him less of a producer u fool. if anything he more of a producer than hi tek cause he makes orginal music

  • hi tek uses mad instruments your jus too simple minded to know that watch his other videos you dumbass

  • i kno he does. but the majority is sampling. put hi tek and scott in a room with an artist with just a keyboard who da fuck u think is gonna be better?

  • hi tek

  • dre doesnt use as much sampling...he said in an interview he tries to stay away from sampling as much as possible

  • trust me i know lol

  • i know how scottie works also Hi-tek both dope producers but im goin with hi-tek...

  • yea their two totally diffrent producers hi tek cant do what scott does scott cant do what hi tek does everybody has diff opnions its all good

  • huh??? he said that? everything on chronic 1 and 2 are all samples and ems new song crack a bottle is a sample ..almost everything he does is a sample...

  • but take a look at 2001 album! thats not heavy sampled!

  • @snowdjagha Yes it is!!! The liner notes even show Dre and Mel-man standing in a room full of vinyl next to an sp1200 and other gear.

  • dre prefers playing the music over rather than sampling

  • havent seen that interview, but if there is one thats a bullshit, dre samples too much

  • hell yeah dre is sample heavy, dont let all those piano keys fool you. you can find alot of dres original samples to his songs on you tube. do your home work my niggas

  • naa man! he SAMPLED too much!

  • yeah now he got a bunch of musiciancs to replay the tune from a songs (dre interview proved)

  • like just blaze is doing now. but he doesnt replays anything. he creats!

  • i wouldnt call him legendary at all but he is a producer tho...i agree some use that term too loosely but storch falls in that category regardless of how good or bad his songs might seem to people

  • Still don't understand why everyone was yelling in the background.

  • knox called tim a tay a cock sucker

knox is hot but hed be better off without racist ass scott porch got torch

  • too bad storch is a legendary producer

  • That sample is beautiful. Did this beat or instrumental ever come out? If so someone please say something.

  • YO That Shits Crazy MAn Foreal.

  • oh man I LOVE the face around 0:17 when he's feelin' the drum shit youknow m'sayin ?!

  • wuz he using the tap tempo key

  • jes, always use taptemp to sync your samples, easiest way

  • the sample is hello love by eddie rasken

  • wait so this is the sample tek used for eye for an eye?

  • wrong, its Anthony White - Could it be magic

  • i sampled this shit

  • can you send me a sample?

  • ayo...I KNOW FOR A FACT that that beat aint from conan the barbarian cuz that shit is one of my favorite movies of all time! plus...i wish the vid was longer so we can actually see all the music come together. cessax, u aint got a longer vid? and tell me that im right about the sample not being from conan?

  • thats definately not conan, different key

  • where's the rest of the video??

  • GGGGG-UNIT

  • g-unit is gay, hi-tek, mos def, talib, JDilla, J5 are true hip-hop

  • was there a need for that comment?

  • all of thoes artist have probly from time 2 time worked wit gunit so how dumb do u sound everybody fucks wit gunit they makin that money

  • @tibbsmcfish oh... so Tek thinks G-Unit is cool since he fuckin be working with them for the last 5 years ... and you dont ... oh no

  • @tibbsmcfish Hi-Tek has produced for G-Unit. Your Statement is invalid.

  • why the hell is he wearing a pittsburgh hat? hes from cincinnati!

  • nothing special man, nothig special-just simle choppin-thats it-i see some people from g-unit they really look on that like a magic :D i spend 2 minutes my life-waisting time. peace !

  • haha

  • g-units a bunch a wak ass faggets yo. wsup w dat

  • was this ever a song

  • A sample from Conan the Barbarian! Shit is sick thunn.

  • do you know name of the soundtrack???

  • O MY GOD!! I DIE IN AN WEEK! MAMA!!

  • Word! It sounds like he got that off of the Movie "Conan the Barbarian"

  • i wish i knew what he was sampling from, just the melody itself sounds sick. especially when he screwed it down.

  • conan the barbarian.

  • love the mpc... but where is the beat?!?!?!

  • i loved when he pitched that shit down. lovely

  • he never gives g unit his tight beats

  • True, but the track on buck's album wasn't bad, my best hi-tek beat is RYDER MUSIC, tat was tight

  • ryder muzik was dark! all tha gangsters were ridin' to it... hahahaaha

  • what?eye for an eye wasnt tight?that was one of the best songs off that album.

  • becuase gay unit dont deserve them

  • WORD !!

  • true, them dudes ain't worthy of hi-tek beat!!! They Rap not Hip-Hop!!! There is a difference!!!

in the search bar type: BLAZONE IN THE LAB LIVE ON THE MPC 2000XL-MCD PART 3

  • WACK

  • yeah that was fucken WACK

  • What are they buggin on? i didn't hear shit!

  • lol yall must not be comprehending me, because I did not say anything was Wrong wit sampling. And Nah my beats aint trash. Eva Heard of the trakk Starz? lol. all i'm sayin is this: There are Quality producers out there who can make music WITHOUT sampling ANOTHER SONG. and NO, "HIP-HOP" within itself as a culture DID NOT start with sampling. not Hip Hop as a whole, just a certain aspect of it that derived from that art form.

  • to make a hot song you gotta know what ur doing. even tho you got a hot sample if ur trash you can't make a hit

  • sounds like a video game score...

  • margisraymond. hiphop started frm sampling( wtf we all knw dat) so wat u on bout?

  • why do i feel like ive heard that sample before?

  • heart* of hip hop

  • sampling is the art of hip hop.

  • (part 3, lol)

Its just that producers, thosew of whom dish out QUALITY music WITHOUT Samplin, dont get da credit. Eventually niggaz gonna run out of samples and realize that they have to be Creative, cuz thats what hip hop is; Originality and Creativity. and thats why i dont really sample, shadig? But much respect to all producers out there.

    Gone

  • thats impossible... U cant run out of samples... Theres to many genres,to many years, too many countrys with their own vintage wax

  • (part 2 to below)

Like real talk, Premo an dem sampled in a clever way, to the point where you couldn't SING ALONG to the song that they sampled. u was basically like, wtf did they sample? yamean?

TIMBALAND, dat nigga rite there, he be samplin shit from movies an shit, sound effects an shit, so that is prevalent within da game too.

  • Oh Fa Sure..... PREMO is my IDOL, Pete Rock is my Idol, dem niggaz, so figuratively, u cannot spell Hip Hop without them, shadig? this is what be stingin me tho. these new cats (respect to you all who made the cut, but i gotta dig in yall for a min) these chopshop producers who CANNOT make a beat without ANOTHER beat, damn near sampling a WHOLE 'nother song an shit.

  • U dont know what fuck youre talking about...

And im willin to bet that u make trash beats

  • sampling is a matter of fact in HIPHOP...sampling is a way of life in hiphip music. The I in hIphop IS infringement lol. You gotta' luv it. We sampled right at the very start of it on two turntables and now we do it on sp's, mpcs', acid ,reason, frootyloops and much much more!

  • Hi Tek is SO Fine! i think im in love!

  • hot spit

  • jakem: read the comments (from 2 months ago)

pimpgod: read the comments (from 2 months ago)

the comment I'm referring to is this:

this beat was never used - another one scrapped but they did do a new, fresh beat together. look for the broc/hi tek collabo on the new dress album, coming soon.

  • wtf

  • wat samples is that

  • what beat is that

  • There's nothing wrong with samplin, I agree. HOWEVER, when a producer is able to create their OWN string symphony and then layer it with a DOPE drum pattern, that is something to be admired as well. I play by ear, dont read music, but i still put out dopeness. I dont like samplin to me, cuz it's too easy. Even if there was a track that I wanted to sample, I emulate it by playing the actual melody Myself, then adding things that weren't there to begin with....

  • well aren't you special

  • the act of Sampling is easy............To make something great out of a sample is not easy... Unless its a hot loop, and even than Someone can fuck that shit up by droppin the wrong drums, wack arrangement, etc..

  • fuck loops... chops are where its at... and realistically.. alot of the same samples get re used over and over.. so we really will never run out as long as we can flip something diffrently..

  • Fatigues weren't made for casual wear, they are a utility garment but they look fresh when they are cut off with some Timberlands, a T-Shirt and a cap. Thus is the artistic value of sampling. That's why Hard Knock Life was dope b/c Orphan Annie is definitely not hip hop but if you pull it off youre a genius.

  • exactly... You dont wear the army fatigue with the military issue boots, binoculars and helmet... You just flip it your way.. Just like you dont the Orphan Annie song and call it a beat... You gotta flip it to something else

  • ahunnedGgunz I'm glad you posted on here dude. Matter fact, we just schooled some of these cats so good that we ought to take up an offering.

  • Sampling is not just about taking melodies and looping\chopping.

Its about taking drums,hi hats, snares, drum rolls, basslines, layering them, filtering etc. Drum machine companies were making products that were not geared toward Hip hop heads. They were geared towards making Pop,AHA-take on me type of records. Those machines had all types of wack shit in it. Hip Hop heads just took the machine and made it work for them. Thats why when you hear a real Hip Hop beat, You know its a hip hop beat.

  • Anyone know if this beat was used?

  • i'll ask b-roc and get back to you...

  • this beat was never used - another one scrapped but they did do a new, fresh beat together. look for the broc/hi tek collabo on the new dress album, coming soon.

  • oh yo i know B-roc, hes a chill dude, and HI tek is HIP HOP, even if hes working with G-unit and shit, sampling helps u understand the mixture of music which is hip hop but even ppl like madlib do live shit with keyboards, and especially the roots, but no g-unit and shoulder lean type shit isnt what hip hop is about

  • you are right - sampling helps train the ear to enable creation of original music. hi-tek doesn't JUST sample. most producers take a sample as something to work from aka be influenced by - the final product is original. why? so they don't have to pay sample royalties.

  • Sampling IS Hip-Hop. If you dont understand sampling, you dont understAND HIP-HOP.

  • That's just a really stupid sentence. Please don't ever say it again.

  • actually Tcoll992 is right... Do your research next time...

  • Most hip hop is created using samples. But sampling is not hip hop. Sampling is just one of many ways to make music.

A lot of my body is made up of water. I go to a lake: "Look, it's me."

  • If it wasnt for marly marl ppl would be making beats that sound like "SUcker Mc"... Or worse It would just be synth beats... Ugh!

  • prove it

  • Marley Mar found that he could upload sounds into his Drum machine.. He did it by accident.. Back when ppl where using stock sounds from drum machines and rapping over breaks from the turntable... When he found this out he uploaded hi hats, snares, kicks, horns w\e from old vinyls.... Thats how he got that those crisp snares. When every one was rapping over those stock sounds machines come with...

  • wtf? hiphop started with 2 turn tables u dumb fuk! that's the break in the beat and thats hiphop 4 ya! now i can see that sampling is the best shit to do...because not everyone can afford a p-diddy choir!

  • lol

  • What's so amazing about this video? He didn't do shit! I shake my head @ sample-based producers. Where is the artistry in that? I like to see when people compose shit. Those people are the "real" producers. Wack video!

  • your a idiot, name one hip-hop producer in the top 10 that doesn't sample.

  • storch

  • scott storch sucks ass just like dr. dre, 50 snitch, and fat joke

  • Seems we got to many JEWS on this you tube....ALL JEWS HATE HIP HOP JUST LIKE THIS FOOL

  • shit, hiphops good cept that crap

  • storch isnt that bad, but your right about all the others fuk em

  • i agree, he didn't do anything in this vid, BUT don't start disrespecting the roots of hip hop.

  • hi tek is da shit respect!!

  • where was the kicks n snares n shit?? i wanna hear the finished product asap.

  • we'll dig that up soon and show you - some exclusive pre-released shit

  • i meant hi-tek is the shit...i got my mpc offa craigslist

  • hell yea he is

  • hi-Tek's shit

  • a cessax where can you buy a mpc?

  • try ebay or go to akai's website (the manufacturer).

  • dope, upload all studio thiings if you got more homie thanks

  • no doubt man, i will do as b-roc feeds me the latest and greatest

  • oh yea, this is fresh
