  • Some more info, Justin:

Another thing you may be able to predict about the coming cyclone is that it will likely have a well-formed eye- since the CME was ejected from a sunspot. (According to Stanford's helioseismic model of the far side of the Sun.)

This means "Ken" will sustain high wind speeds.

  • Thanks for that, I just need to begin familiarizing myself with the data now, I understand you, but I need to understand the data I look at.

  • Is there an iceberg under there?

  • LMAO, I hope not, I'm not built to withstand a confrontation with an Iceberg.

  • We could try shitting on it:

    /watch?v=c312hT_ENbk

    *sobbing with laughter*

  • Yeah I love that poem!

  • can you enable group comments for this vid?

  • Group annotations that is!

  • Not sure what you mean, like the ability to allow others to add annotations?

  • Yeah I think it's an option under the edit settings, I was going to put a little warning about the iceberg, but no worries, old joke now... :-)

  • I would like to know how to allow that, its a great idea, especially with regards to you. Under settings you say?

PS uploading new CME video! These will be tuff to keep up too when it gets very active...

  • Is it the "invite others to add annotations" button? It just gives me a link to share with? Is this it or is there an option to turn it on?

  • Just so you know, Kennith is not a Cyclone yet. It's a tropical storm presently. The cyclone classification is based on the wind speed, not just the cyclonic appearance.

Kennith will probably become a cyclone as long as you've mapped it to the corresponding CME, but there was another small ejection on the opposite side of the sun about the same time, and this may be Kennith.

But most likely you will have had an even farther look into the future than you'd thought. ;-)

  • This is all mind blowing, doesn't seem real, why doesn't the world see this?

  • I also know that it is not a cyclone as of now, but Nasa likes to call it a cyclone, so I'm going with that to cause less confusion.

  • lol Don't drown dude! Thanks for the vote of confidence, Justin. I'll make a vid detailing what I've observed since the video I'm posting as a response to this.

  • Yes I would love to hear what you've observed, I can not wait until I am able to to use all the datafeeds to see the big picture like you are!

  • Justin, this is really exciting to hear.

and, the special effects are fab!

  • Imagine the excitement I am experiencing, I predicted a cyclone using Astrotometry!

Thanks, I like the effects too!
