They should put more emphasis on adoption. There are many children that are adopted out of the country. If they put more emphasis on adoption there would be even less children born, less children born without homes, and children could have siblings.

1. In 30 years from now, there'll be millions of less people then there would have been w/o this policy.
2. With millions less, there's more money per person

Those are Chinas daughters and yet they left them bound to chairs until their legs were dieing then the child died. whereas if each family had 2 children, as an adult, you'd only support an old person and one child.. seems a little better.... but that's the thing, civilization thrives when it expands and suffers when the numbers drop.

but on the other hand, it will take about 3 decades until the current adults get old. During that time, seeins as they have to raise a half a child and take care of probably less than an old person, that rest of their productivity is gonna have to go somewhere :)
so maybe china's economic explosion is a side effect of their 1-child policy. we'll see in 20-30 years
