Dorothy was very competitive and loved being the one to make the correct guess. She often kept a "cheat sheet" to keep track of the answers, but I don't think this was against the rules, as she was allowed to do it more than once. It is a little poor form, though, and goes against the fun of the game...
i've actually seen all of them take notes and wave their little pencils around .. just yesterday i watched one where tony randall is all sorts of confused and goes on to read his list of answers from his paper in the end laughing at how somehow it all amounted to nothing. it was funny
This was broadcast on Sunday Christmas 1960, though it must have been videotaped a week or two in advance.
Dorothy's alcohol problem is spiraling downward. She started missing broadcasts in December and January and after reporting the Kennedy inaugural, she required detox at the LeRoy Sanitarium.
The mystery guest of this episode appears in YouTube -- it is the famous sequence where all the spouses appear and Arlene says to Martin, "There comes a time when a man speaks too much."
One could argue that Tony Randall's question deserved a take over, and one could also argue he deserved to be cut off because his question was purposely vague.
This part where the panel has to guess what someone does for a living is my favorite (more than the blindfolding part where they have to guess the name of the guest).

Bennett (and the host) was wrong. The fact that most of them are not unmarried doesn't apply that most are married. It could be half of each!!!!!

LMFAO @ 7:11 when Arlene looks like she's gonna deck Bennett, and Bennett leans away because he's afraid she actually might
