@AcysLounge Ok,another question more(forgive me for being so annoying hahaha)What year was this guitar made?i'm thinking in buying a Tokai USG85 that was made in the 1992,and this sound awesome.
@filipdinev1 I would go for the Sennheiser that gives me a very close sound to that what I really hear out of the speaker. The SM57 is not easy finding the right position, that´s way easier with E606.
@tubbycosmos Was´nt that loud. The police did not come, and my neighbours still smiled. I would say that was a good home playing level, but no live band level.
Gut gemacht, vielen Dank!
Thank you for showing what the amp can do in crunch channel and then turning guitar volume down... yes ! Now that is what I call a great responsive amp... nice THICK tone!
Thanks for a VERY GOOD DEMO..
Oh oh I may be spending some money very soon... :)
@fuzzatface Tokais give me more the sounds, I prefer. The Tokais are very resonant, alive and dynamic sounding. Check that out before buying, that would be the best way. Thanks!
Nice demo.. I have a couple of questions about the Tokai (Japan made thru 2007 I think).. Do you know if the neck is long tenon, hows the intonation and buzzing and how stable/sturdy is the neck? Also is everything stock on the SG in this Vid?
This amp is the real deal. I played one at a Guitar Center and have wanted one ever since. . Diezel has nailed the formula for guitar amps. Simply fantastic.
The early Tokais made in Japan circa early 1980's are the collectable ones. They are now made in Korea. . not sure how good the Korean models are. . but would guess that they are still very cool guitars?
Hey man, been loving your videos and tone for a while now. Just wondering why you chose the Tokai sg over the Gibson? I'm guessing it's not a price thing since you're playing diezels :P I have a herbert and am looking to get an sg so am very interested cause yours sounds perfect. Peace.
Holy hell..! gotta be one of the best overdrive amps i have ever heard...if i could source one i would get it in a heartbeat..!!! if i could afford it that is!! haha !!
hello ! is your tokai sg a korean one ? from the sound of it, i'd say an older one that would havebeen maybe made in japan ? but i'm not sure at all ...
Hammer. Was meinst du? Hab ne Fender Strat Rory G. und für die härteren Sounds ne Ibanez EGEN. Stilmäßig so was in der Drehe zw.
Naja ich glaub es bleibt dabei ?=)...Wish you the best!
PS: Find ich genial was du machst! Hobby zum Beruf gemacht, denk ich mal?! ;)
Hi Acy. Spitzen Clip!
Griiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiins!
das teil klingt echt geil eh!!!! is jetzt nich DER high gain amp aber der clean sound is echt geil und crunch haut auch schon ziemlich rein !! reverb..abgefahren geil bei dem amp!!..kannst du mir etwas mehr über diesen amp erzählen..is der metal tauglich und was für ne box benutzt du..haha wie geil das mit meienr PRS 513 klinegn würde ;);)
Thanx mate!
And btw: Would love to hear a demo of those beautifull tokai guitars that are on your site. I can not find them on the tokai site, but they looks VERY beautifull.
Dude awesome. I saw this amp on the site and I love the specs. Can I ask how much it is? Would really have this amp next to what I have got, like that this hasnt got soo many watts. It sounds so dynamic and that on youtube...
sorry,USG85

Hey, man, love your demos. Other than the specs and technical differences, how does tonality on this amp differ from the Einstein?
Thanks!
buckster7777 2 months ago
@buckster7777 Schmidt is more vintage style, not so modern sounding, but still a typical Diezel amp.
