I'm looking into majoring in Game Engineering/Programming. Knowing 4 languages of programmer at the age of 16 was a very smart choice to invest my time into. Knowing Java, C##, C++, PHP, and binary formatting and setup design for Mysql. I'm getting there, filled out pre-applications for my freshman year and got accepted into SOT (School of Technology) my Sophomore year... Full Sail, here I come!
@xx2skilled4u Fullsail is the best thing that happened to me, I never once complained about attending there. It helped me get a great job and I met some of the most inspiring people, some of which I consider best friends. I apologize for the quality, but this was merely a project for my speech class that I put together in around 4 hours the day before it was due, if I didn't have so many actual CA projects to worry about, I definitely would have put more effort into this. Sorry for the satire.

Go to school, work hard, and everything works out.

Every one of my classmates including myself in the jan 2009 computer animation graduating class got a job that pays LOWEST 35k.except for 1.The 3 compositors in my class got jobs that pay from 75k/y to 100k/y, but they were the hardest workers. The only scam there is at this school is the students who believe they can make video games without doing any work or putting in long hours. IT IS A HARD SCHOOL.I took the time to do the search in my graduation class, I suggest the haters do that also.

@baslotto Compression has nothing to do with volume control. What you want is volume normalizing. (Nope, didn't go to no college for that particular know-how. Straight-up Google.)

So if the highest peak is close to the target level you are not gaining the lowest ones. Compression would minimize the difference between the louder and the softer parts.

I just sent my son to full sail this weekend im very nervous.I got him a apartment up the street from the school and i live in St louis ,Mo a 1,000 miles away from Florida.Is it a pretty safe enviroment.He lives in Park apartments.And is this school really worth all the money i paid.
@Gracefulize I stayed at the park apartments! It is one of the safer complexes in my opinion, but most of them close to fullsail are pretty safe. (there are always random incidents though mind you). Only word of advice is, warn him to not walk late at night behind full sail, or anywhere where it is away from the main roads. There has been many many laptop robberies.
