I love Lama Tashi's version...he has such a pure rich authentic Tibetan chant version. My son can chant this low, but I cannot not...it takes years to perfect this particular form of chanting. @JustDioRrr888 Good question! I think you should listen to it more often! I think crying has to do with your chakras. Your heart chakra and so on are all connected, and tears can result if your heart is moved. I'm not very good at guessing though ;-)

My understanding is that we normally carry a certain number of delusions about reality and some of these delusions are expressed as negative emotions many of us try to suppress. When we suppress these feelings we block the natural flow of energy through the body-mind. Chanting clears these blockages and causes bottled emotions to move into consciousness where they can be purified.

She is said to be sitting with her legs in that postion as she is ready to act for the benefit of sentient beings whenever needed. Its important to remember buddhists dont have deity worship in their religon at all. Buddhas are the mind, your mind, in a perfect state. which is what buddhist are trying to achieve. so effectively your mind and Green tara can become the same in quality.
