Such a shame this team never played in Europe. I can only imagine AC Milan of Van Basten,Gullit and Rijkaard standing in their way.But how good was that man on the left wing though.. Barnsie was a genius.He never produced the same form for England; apart for a few minutes in '86 against the Argies.

I remember they brought out a VHS of the Forest game. Very unusual in those days to have a video about one game but it was such an amazing performance...

@capricious71 they has a MOTD special on it aswell. it was one of the main stories on news at ten, then the BBC cancelled their programmes late on and showed the game instead.

@seckie1001 I think I remember that, yes! Tom Finney said after the game it was the best exhibition of football I'd ever seen.
They made it look so easy. This is what happens when you have a bunch of skillful players not paid ludicrous amounts that work as team. Football these days is repulsive.
