@anaclet These men are from Brazil. In Brazil almost half of its population is black or part black. The other half is white. Colombia has 21% African Ancestry and Venezuela 10%. Peru and Ecuador also have significant black communities. Brazil by the way was a Portuguese Colony and so therefore Portuguese is the main language there. Those men are therefore Brazilian. For example, according CIA Factbook, Ecuador is 7% White and 3% Afrodescendant. However another source like yours says its 10% afrodescandant and 15% White. In CIA Worldfactbook, Colombia is 58% Mestizo, 20% White, and 21% Afrodescendant. Either way, Latin America is very diverse!

Also the last slave ship bringing in slaves to Cuba came in 1873, and slavery was abolished in Cuba finally in 1886.

Rome then conquered what is now Italy, France, Spain, French, and Portuguese, and Romania. So any place that speaks Spanish, French, Portuguese, Romanian, and/or Italian is LATIN.
And yes EVERY South American nation has blacks/Afrodescendants. Brazil has more black people and Afrodescendants than the USA
