  • @rave3636 it's teacher.

  • @1Deborah8

    SeonsaengNim - Sir

SeonSaeng / Gyo Sa - Teacher

    (Nim: addressing someone's title)

    Gyo Soo : professor

    GyoSooNim: sir

SeonSaennim can also be used to call someone that is older and that you respect.

    Got that?

  • @rave3636

SeonSaennim can also be used to call someone that is older and that you respect.

  • @jisaw80

  • @rave3636

Finally, I see a really dedicated student who actually knows how to use Seonsaengnim properly!!

    SeonsaengNim - Sir

SeonSaeng / Gyo Sa - Teacher

    (Nim: addressing someone's title)

    Gyo Soo : professor

    GyoSooNim: sir

SeonSaennim can also be used to call someone that is older and that you respect.

    Got that?

  • @rave3636

Where did you see that book? It's actually an old way of saying Mister, like in our father's generation. You wouldn't use seonsaengnim like that any more.

These days, Korean kids call their teachers "Sam" as an abbreviation. "Saem"

yeah, JiSeunghyeon Saem...well, Ji Saem~~~~ that's more like it. yeah..But use that on young friendly teachers.

  • Herro, I'm heer to teach you to spek de Korean.

Why not just greet them with "English, motherfucker! Do you speak it?".

  • i'm trying to learn it myself **)

    love from philippines xxx

  • omg i wanna know how to speak korean

  • @MachellyGreene

    me tooo

  • I cant understand what the old man is saying. This is useless.

  • 24 sounds beat americas, i feel stupid because i wrote down the words and it looks stupid xDD they say their names pretty fast. what happens if you don't bow, does that just make it seem like you don't have respect or what?

  • @lylacgirl123 yes.. you should bow even if you are meeting someone at school for the first time who's like 2-3 yrs older than you. it's for courtesy/respect. normally a slight bow is acceptable, but to adults, at least bend down.

  • how can i learn this,.,

  • I can read & write Korean, I just don't know the words or the order of words. :/

Lmao, and I can't even write or read in my own language. :P

Vietnamese is so boring to learn, my parents keeps scolding me to learn it.

    Its like French.... ><"

  • @iSunMi OMG same im from vietnam too.. but the only reason why its like french was because we used to be part of their colony. But Vietnamese people are very unique ! XD

  • @princessmadness Lol, I'm not from Vietnam, but I'm Vietnamese. :P I'm in Canada and kids from grade 4-8 has to learn French. :P I'm going to grade 9 and I'm taking Japanese, to bad there's no Korean. But that's okay I can learn it myself. (:

  • @iSunMi Oh i see.. Well i aint from vietnam either .. my parents originate from there. ooh im in the 9th grade aswell.. i can read and speak viet and now im takin french still and spanish but im learning korean myself. :) Its quite a hard language to learn though. well to read and write atleast. oh wells im still going to try. XD

  • @princessmadness Haha, reading and writing Korean is actually very easy! I learned it all during Winter break. :P But the hard thing about the language is the principles of speaking. All I remember right now is the verb is always at the end of the sentence. xD But anyways, good luck in learning! Hwaiting!

  • @iSunMi But then again i've only just started learning to speak, write and read Korean .. so i guess its just a start. but thanks alot. I need to learn it because im going to korea when im older to study .. The people where i do my extra GCSE's said i could go there to finish my studies on Photography. Awesome right ? Anyways Thanks. iSunMi Hwaiting !

  • @mysunnylemon yea,not easy... I am learning through the internet..my mother does not allow me to learn other languages as she wants me to concentrate on my studies.. secretly learning XD but, even if its hard, I will still learn...well, since Jung Min can learn a few languages when he travels..I dun believe I cant do it! To those who are also learning.. FIGHTING!

  • where do you download this stuff! please tell me!

  • it's easier if you have YouTube Downloader

  • This is a lot easier to understand and follow that some shows, and the amount of times they make you repeat really helps it stick in your head. I'm meant to be learning japanese, but both writing and speaking in korean seems so much easier

  • I know... i"m curently learning japanese and is as hard as it could ever get!

  • I'm learning japanese, and have been for a year, and by this point, its gotten easier...korean pronunciation is really hard in comparison to japanese. japanese pronunciation reminds me of spanish. loosely though.

  • my husband snorts whenever i tell him i taught myself to read/write korean characters. it's incredibly simple. i only wish i can speak it...

  • arghh! this is like confusing me.. i thought ᄃ makes the "d" sound but how come in here, she's pronouncing it as "tth"?

  • ᄃ is more like d/t combined.

  • what about ᄄ? isnt that used as the "t" sound?

  • it's used as a d or t sound depending on where it's placed i think.

  • Learning Korean is HARD!

  • That's because these people are belittling you as often as they can... -_-

I'm Korean, and I NEVER KNEW you could be this much of an asshole teaching someone Korean...

  • Learning English is much harder for most people.

In fact learning any language is easy because everyone can do it, and difficult because it takes LOTS of time. :-)
