QUESTION, did you say it is illegal to use sorghum for your molasses in the USA? Or did you say that is what you are using, sorghum. I agree that sorghum should make a great rum. Was curious about experimenting myself. Thanks
I've never been a rum fan, but we went driving around rural Tennessee last year and stumbled across this distillery. Phil and his wife personally gave us a tour and a sampling of the rum...and it's fantastic. I'm a whiskey drinker, and their Fine Rum really suits me. My wife and daughter love the Sweet Georgia Belle flavored rum. We found a local liquor store in Minnesota that will order it, and our friends are now becoming fans as well. Oh...his bourbon is also great.
Ein(Stien) aka Em(Hotep), CEO of HotepFilmz and Fantombeatz met Phil a couple of days ago and bought one of his fine bottles of Sweet Lucy, which Phil autographed. Here's the commercial he made for Phil. Yes, Sweet Lucy is THAT good.

I so admire Phil. Religous fanatics kept him from buying the old Ruby Mill in Manchester and making it there. I wish him the best.
