I like the song, Don't remember it. Be a lot better if you put some sort of
slide show or movie clips to go slong with it. I'm not into looking at a record label to see if I can turn it into a balloon and float away by my astounding
@Texasjim2007 Thanks for your comments. My video channel is for posting records that are in my record collection, with audio from the actual 45's, and showing the actual 45's. If you don't like looking at the label, click the play button and then go on with internet surfing somewhere else, but I won't change the way I've always done things on my channel.
i heard another record by this group on the bbc radio show "sounds of the sixties".it was called big city lights which i fell in love with straight away.i recorded it and intend to get a copy but disspite the bbc playing it have serched google, youtube and everywhere but no luck so far.it may seem strange and a bit morbid but i said to my friend "i wonder what else we will miss from the sixties when we leave the planet for good that also we would have loved just the same as big city lights.
i have not heard this since i was a kid the record got destroyed wen i was 8 never could replace it now i need to try to download it thanks 4 posting it
How Would You Like Me To Love You is an absolute classic - one of my all time faves. However, I expect Conquer was considered more commercial. How I wish I could replace my crackly old single (UK United Artists) with a CD release of both sides.
The Shevelles were a Welsh group that had 4 singles on the United Artists label (plus two on other labels) so the World Music version is obviously a US release! "How Would You Like Me To Love You" was the b-side to this track.
It's always fascinating to find good music like this item, that for some reason didn't quite make it on the airwaves or record charts. I never heard of the Shivelles before, but to my ears they sound similar to the early Hollies. World Artists was a Pittsburgh-based record label, existing in 1964-66, whose artist roster also included Reparata & the Del-Rons. Nice posting!
"How Would You Like Me To Love You" is one of the greatest British Beat records I've heard. Loved it for years, why it isn;t on CD (bootleg or otherwise) is beyond me!
So sorry if i misled you, only performed it, didnt record a version

The Joel Whitburn book "Bubbling Under" only adds that the lead singer was Welshman Mike Stevens - Song peaked at #104 in the U.S.

I seem to remember this came out in 1964, and got up to 58. This was a great tune, and it should have done better than it did.
