I don't really understand this list. The two games that really defined the past gen for online MP were Halo 2 for xbox which was number 1 and my personal favorite SOCOM 2 for the PS2. Had both, loved both but SOCOM 2 (and 1 for that matter) defined how games should be played online. I play or have played all of the top 7 on this list and the fact that neither SOCOM 1 or 2 is on this list is criminal. Jesus KZ2 doesn't even come close to what SOCOM did for online MP.

Crysis 2 is too much like CoD. Yes it's fun and has some new features, but you know how it's takes a couple of matches to go from one FPS to another? Well on CoD to Crysis 2 with almost exact controls and killstreaks, you'd think you're play Call of Duty: Future Warfare. It's good and has new fun features, but it's too much like CoD to enjoy it to the fullest extent.

And for what games I think should be on the list...I know this wasn't out when they made this list, but Crysis 2 should be in there somewhere, maybe around No.5 or 6. Crysis 2 is incredibly well balanced weapons-wise, and the ground-pounding, high jumping, and power sliding makes it stay interesting, along with the upgradable nanosuit. Instead of having magical "perks" that randomly give you increased damage or speed, it actually upgrades the suit with small devices.
