  • i like this,, but u are so fast..! so I can not learn it well. because I'm learning to paint a tree like that you painted in your painting. thx.. ( ^_~)

  • i have a question: what's the name of that brush you use for painting trees, and grass... i can't find it anywhere! where can i buy it? please answer me... p.s. - amazing paintings!!!

  • OMG that is so beautiful!!

  • This is F***ing Amazing...Keep up the Good Work.

  • Thank you very much! Do you sell your paintings? How much do you price your paintings for? I'm starting surreal art paintings and I'm having a hard time pricing them.

  • @CuteandCreepy123 What the artist prices the painting and what it sells for can be very different. The more attractive the painting the higher the price it will sell for. The rule I use is the size and time it takes to paint it and how much money I have left in my pocket.

  • This is JUST what I've been looking for! I'm an art teacher and have been trying to find a video that was quick and to the point without long and drawn out details! There is a place for that but none of them helped me because I don't have time to watch a detailed video. I just wanted a quick 'how to' video to go over the basic steps and I can totally see how to fill in the rest. This was perfect and I was so relieved to find this and see how short it was! Thanks for sharing!

  • Kir0880 WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT? THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I TYPE WHEN I I'M OVERLY TIRED AS I AM NOW. I USUALLY TYPE IN ALL CAPS, BESIDES TYPING IS NOT A GIFT OF MINE, IT'S ART AND MAKING PEOPLE LAUGH!!

  • @RISKIRAT1 CAPS CAPS CAPS IM AN ART TEACHER CAPS CAPS CAPS. geeeeeeeez...........

  • This is so lovely Ben. I personally find your videos very helpful as I am an acrylic artist myself. Pay no mind to negative comments, you're doing a wonderful job and I appreciate your videos and help! Thank you. :) aloha -Nicky

  • AS AN ART TEACHER MYSELF I DON'T THINK IT'S WISE TO POST A "HOW TO PAINT VIDEO" AND THEN NOT TEACH ANYTHING! IF YOU WANT TO REALLY TEACH THEN YOU NEED TO GO STEP BY STEP CLEARLY AND NOT JUST RUSH THROUGH A VIDEO WITH JUST THE COLORS YOUR USING. YOU MIGHT WANT TO WATCH A "HOW TO VIDEO YOURSELF TEACHING" VIDEO TO HELP YOU. SO YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU LOVE. BTW PLEASE DON'T GIVE ME A HARD TIME BY USING ALL CAPS. I'M AN ARTIST NOT A TYPIST! BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL...

  • @RISKIRAT1 i agree... its a nice painting ,,,but i didnt learn anything from it...no step by step...i just want tips on what to do before i start painting on a canvas board....i'm using acrylics... how do i thin my paint do i use water or acrylic meduim... i wish i cud find bob ross painting with acrylics

  • do you wait for each layer to dry before you do the next? like the waterfall, did you wait for the rocks to dry before you did the water?

  • beautiful! how long did it take you?

how did you do it so good?

  • @cosychimp It takes a couple of days

  • thank you.. i thought i could never paint a waterfall:)

  • what a lovely painting? did you just make that up from your head? What canvas are you using and what types of acrylic paints bcuz i think the ones im using don't allow my brushes to flow that well across the canvas. also, how do you make your clouds look so realistic?

  • @jqb18 Yes. The painting is made up and not a real place but inspired from Hawaiian waterfalls. I am using cotton canvas 20x24 inches. The paint is called" Apple Barrel" acrylics in plastic bottles of 8 fl OZ. Please see my other videos for paint. I do have many videos where I demonstrate painting of clouds. Thanks for watching and good luck to your painting

  • Thank you! It really helped me making my painting.

  • @MsMadCherry Glad to have helped

  • nice mate i like it great waterfall 5 stars

  • The video runs to fast & skips over the techniques you use to make the mountains etc.

  • the painting is beautiful, i have learn't a lot so thank you and i hope that you will continue making these video's because they have helped me and many more, so thanks again

  • @mzyAngel01 I will make more videos as soon as I find the time. thanks

  • I really doubt that this video is going to be helpful o anyone who wants to learn how to draw a waterfall like myself for instance. Since , I am absolutely not as half as talented as him. Nevertheless , I find this video and the rest o his videos very relaxing.

  • @berserker20008 You don't know til you try it many times.

  • you know this is beautiful but you know what i like most about this; you used apple barrel paint and not some really expensive "special" paint :)

  • @KatKrazy373 exactly! Thanks

  • I go to art school and YOU have helped me excel faster than most professors. I really hope good things come to you for being the inspiration of many.

  • @brandonholsey There is happiness in helping others. Thank you very much

  • thumbs up if these tutorials are more helpful that your college art classes...

  • @kilderok Some art colleges do not teach much

  • @ArtistBenSaber You've got that right! I had the head of the art dept. where I go to school ask ME for assistance in one of his paintings, dealing particularly with achieving that translucent, living flesh affect with oil paints...I thought perhaps he was just testing my abilities, but he seemed too thoroughly confounded with the aspect that flesh colored paint does not equal instant realistic flesh...

  • i really like your tutorials

  • @Origamiking1 There will be more to come. Thank you.
