Hey, man, Sonya's my favorite character and I don't much care for you calling her "not very smart". Notice how Lara Croft wasn't wearing her winter outfit in the first level of Tomb Raider Anniversary. It's an oversight by the design team. Besides, Sonya probably was hanging out in the warm base before getting punched through a wall outside.

Sad to say I was one of those who ripped this render to shreds. *hangs head* The ensemble is awesome, beret is a nice add on, and the arena behind her is great, but what turned me off was the face and the size of her head in comparison to the bulk of her body. I know, I know, I probably sound hella shallow to some people right now. Its not a bad render by any means, just could have used a few simple changes is all. She looks great in game though, and that's all that counts really.

Kerri Hoskins played Sonya in MK2,MK3,UMK3 and has since done motion capture work on the MK games.

Kerri Hoskins did not portray Sonya in MK2,

that was in fact still Elizabeth Malecki's sprite from MK1.

I don't know how they managed to use her with the whole lawsuit thing going on at the time,

but i do recall reading a Kerri Hoskins post where she mentioned that she was not in MK2.

so I guess they altered some MK1 Sonya sprites to have her stand like that.
