While I don't agree with what these people are protesting, I feel like Canada is looking like a police state around Toronto, arresting and searching people without warrants.

From watching many videos it looks at thought a lot of the protesters where pushing the limits of the cops and crossings lines that were set so the cops tried pushing them back over the lines but the protesters decided to just bring more people over the line. What the police is doing is against humans rights, if the peaceful way of protesting isnt working anymore you guys have to decide wich side u take and better get fucking ready to defend ourself. Very interesting coverage of an embarrassing blunder by the police mob. Those citizens who were unlawfully detained without just cause should all receive citations for bravery and integrity in the face of police misconduct. NOW DO YOU SEE WHY WE SHOULD ALL VOTE? 40 of these videos and counting and other than the national anthem, "who's streets, our streets", "sit down, sit down now" and "peaceful protest", i still can't figure out what the fuck people were protesting. and the sad part is any REAL protest, you wouldn't have to ask. And guess what, other than generic answers ("we're protesting the rape of our resources by capitalism and corporations" explained to us by a guy in an adidas t-shirt), they don't really know what they're protesting either.

If i was the police and a large group of people were chanting "this is a peaceful protest" with no signs or chanting any messages, and with backpacks and whatnot I would be worried for public safety and would do the same thing they did.

its funny how information on both sides doesn't tell the whole story, anyone can make a video of select shots or people saying select things and it will paint the picture they want to tell. I am not trying to take away from this video's message I just want to say that maybe from the police forces point of view a lot of the situations might have not played out the same as we watch them here...

I am the one ringing my bike bell asking for a way out. The police would not allow it. When I was arrested the police threw my bike to the ground. Does anyone know what happened to it? Any help would be magnificent

From watching many videos it looks at thought a lot of the protesters where pushing the limits of the cops and crossings lines that were set so the cops tried pushing them back over the lines but the protesters decided to just bring more people over the line. So the cops had to push back. Thought I do agree the cops went a bit to far the protesters themselves are also to blame here.

If I was forced to stand there for 4 hours, I'd probably have done something aggressive, far worse than walking around peacefully with a sign. I can't believe that these people calmly stood there for 4 hours! Also I can't believe that the cops/traitors forced the people to stay there.

The police and Harper think they have it easy, they feel powerful right now, but legally and democratically, they shall pay for having violated the people of Canada and Quebec. Not to mention the world is seeing this too. Some police officers will have to explain themselves before the people and then they will know they are the small ones.
