Also keep in mind that Apple sold 6 million notebooks and 4 million desktops in just 2007 alone. Its not market share and im sure having UNIX base helps but if you ask me its the Mac user that keep OSX safe. We Mac user are not like PC users who write code that could harm the computer, we write code that is helpful and useful; when downloading Mac software you can download knowing youre not going to get infected because the person who made the App loves Macs just as much as you do.

Windows 7 isn't a matter of pretty. This is brilliant! I can easily run over twenty windows at once, with not a trace of lag! Everything isn't conveniently organized, so it's always easy to access all those windows. It's got a compatibility mode, with which I have never once found an incompatible software.

Apple had it good with Vista and their childish ads. Now they're scared and resorting to "Macs are #1 in customer satisfaction" for their ads.

Well yeah, that's a position that Microsoft wanted to keep, and Apple, with more time and funding, could have easily become a stronger competitor. If somebody was dangerously close to taking your position at work, would you sit around and go "Oh, I'll just wait and see what happens"?

I am not advocating sitting still when your competitor is taking market share, that would not be sound business, I was pointing out how Microsoft plays the game, they know Apple could be become a real threat, I just think their tactics are hilarious after this Vista screw up.

I have been using Windows 7 since the 6xxx prebetas and It almost brings tears to my eyes to see how awesome it turned out to be.

I use macs, I use Pc's and I use Pc's running linux, and the most reliable, the system that I use to get things done, and the system that has lasted me the longest is pc. Thank you Microsoft, you monopolizing evil company, for making an Operating system that finally beats all others again.
