  • at 0:39 is that a colored pencil version of one of Norman Rockwell's paintings? Looks like it to me lol

  • who is the artist? I'd love to some of his finished work with the pencils.

  • @Ceares The artists name is Don Colley - it is easy to find him through google.

  • @BlickVideos thanks!

  • what kind of paper is that you're drawing on?

  • @Mrwolflinktwilight I'm sorry but we don't have knowledge of what paper the artist is using in this video. Poychromos pencils can be used on a wide variety of papers and surfaces.

  • can anybody PLEASE help me! I don't know witch Faber Castell - product i should by, The polycromos, the pastels och the monocrome. PLEASE HELP!

  • how well do they mix with other brands? i have prismacolor a pretty big set but id like to try and and switch to fabercastel

  • @MsTokies You can integrate your Prismacolor with the Faber Castell

  • Today i bought the box with 24 colours pencils it cost 61.5 dollars. lol! lets see if it is a good deal.

  • @Diiiiiiiiiima10 Today on the Blick website, you could have purchased this same set for $27.99 plus shipping.

  • Can someone recommend a good sharperner for the polychromos

  • @Kiwikick238 I use Prismacolor brand's sharpener, since their pencils are super-breakable I find they have a gentle enough sharpener. Some people don't like it, but I do.

  • I use the Faber Castell oil pastels but well it be okay on regular sketch paper

  • the first time I got faber-castells I pronounced it farber castle haha

  • does anyone how much they cost the full set?

  • @Gabrielaheart1 Because all online prices fluctuate, please refer to the Blick Art Materials website to find prices.

  • i use it...but i still need working more on it >.<

  • @dougfreshish Yes, these pencils work well on most papers. Different papers will offer various results, so it is a matter of what technique you use and what result you are looking for.

  • how he did this???????

  • That really depends on what you want. One is wax (Prisma) while the other is oil (Poly) so they are somewhat different. Now, I started out with Prisma because that's what's so often taught and discussed and probably because they are the lower cost of artist-grade colored pencils and they are sold anywhere and everywhere. I do, however, strongly prefer Poly, though I used several brands. If you feel serious about the medium already, go with Poly.

  • @OriginalDrJenn That's not really true, you can't find Prismacolor products easily anywhere outside N. America.

  • wow, so, which would be better, Prismacolor or Faber Castell???

  • thats so cool teach me please
