Grunge saw some of the worst spell of music so did the 70s. Sex Pistols is considered one of the greatest ever even though they are extremely harsh on the ears. The point I'm making is that music is relative to each individual, ask 100 people who their top 10 bands are and you'll get a 100 different ans.
