although extraction point and perseus mandate aren't part of the main timeline they are fun and interesting alternate timelines. I'm too much of a fan of the series though cause I love every fear game. Just beat fear 3 with both characters and it was awesome.

Fear1: Pointman (Alma´s son, Paxton Fettel´s brother) shot Paxton in the head and killed him. Armacham facilty was destroyed which followed a huge explosion.

fear2: Sergeant Becket was sent to ANOTHER armacham facility to find Aristide. During this mission the explosion from fear1 occured. After a chain of events, Becket was raped by alma->fear2 ends.

Fear2REBORN: Paxton Fettel is dead and needs a host body to live. He controls the mind of a replica (clones of him) for him to use his body.

He got shot in the head in F.E.A.R, reappeared throughout Extraction Point and sometimes in Perseus Mandate (after explosion of Origin Facility), transfered his spirit into a new body (his clone, Foxtrot 813) in F.E.A.R 2: Reborn, and is still using it in F.3.A.R (with the bullet hole as a token of his brother imo)..

If he had no body, how could the bullets in F.3.A.R hurt him anyway? You also was able to heal him in splitscreen, so...

I find it strange that since Fettel has taken over his mind, where in the hell he get the clothes changing body armor to regular clothing in the 3rd game. Nothing make sense after he says he is reborn, he is still wearing a damn replica force armor. Kinda strange in the 3rd game Fettel looks barely the same from the 1st and 2nd game, in the 2nd game he still retains his look from the first and now the 3rd looks nothing like him.

Because you're a different character from the main character of F.E.A.R. 2. You're a Replica, a clone of Fettel, and you're being used to bring Fettel back to life. Alma wants him to stay dead.

Fettel's not 'scaring' you, he's helping you. He's not ordering Replicas to shoot you because you're on his side.

Also, Alma was raping Becket. That's why she's pregnant in F.E.A.R. 3. ;)

What i'm thinking is fettel just chose the clone that is the most different from everyone else and one with a stronger mind and took over his body. Since you did kill him in fear 1, his spirit is still alive, but needs a body. So now he has a body for his soul and is technically back. I also suspect hs agasint alma because an objective did say "kill her minions" and alma does try to stop you from getting to fettel.
