Haha, i remember my friend returned from Afghanistan to Bosnia, and his unit was together with Danes... And one day the Talibans attacked, all Danish soldiers fled, only they're commander stud the ground, so Bosnian troops had to save the day... Danes are cowards...!

They finally re-released the 70 degree camera head and I bought one. This video shows ME that I was not out of line wanting a 70 degree head. It doesn't have the super wide view but is much more in focus and, IMO, has a much more realistic field of view.
The POV system is absolute the most durable and rugged solution available on the marked and despite the pins in the cable you almost cant break that camera which for military usage is very important. Warm, Cold, Water it just record. It might not deliver the best video quality, but its still the best solution.
But hopefully we dont need to wait much longer for the VIO POV next generation camera system ;o)

No you are right, 4.59-5.44 is also shot with the 70 degree lens.
You can typically see a curved horizon when its recorded with the 110 lens and you are right that its very difficult to see far away.
Therefore its a very good idea always to have something in the foreground which the camera can focus on. Then you dont see that curved horizon so much and you tend to get a better video quality.
It's a combination the first footage 0:00-1:55 is shot with the 70 degree camera lens.(was shot in 2007) The rest is shot with the wide angle lens (110) and was shot recently in 2009.
I used to respect Danes until I learnt of dolphin slaughters.. so fuck you and die!!!

I am going to use the pov for the same reson you are using it.
I have the 110 degree lens and had my doudts if what i am recording gives a clear view.
Because with a 110 degree lens your weapon looks kind of distand
Your recording starting with a view of your m4 1.26-1.55 are very good.
Are you sure that the recording done at 4.59-5.44 is not done with a 70 lens ?
