This show would've been so much more successful if it originally aired on Showtime or something like that. Fox doesn't have a continuational type of show success. Episodic shows work better for basic cable while continued story works better on channels like HBO or showtime.

Basically, from what I've heard, Michael Cera is one of the bigger hold outs on doing the movie. So blame it on him LOL

There's another clip on the YouTube of Jeffrey Tambor no more than a month or two ago saying that the movie's a "go". One knows better than to toy with the delicate emotions of an AD fan- the interviewer told him that he was afraid to get his hopes up...and Tambor said "Get your hopes up- when the producers..blah blah blah... start calling you, it's on." So I am confident that the movie is in progress. So... I may not have to refill that Teamocil prescription after all.

i love Jason Bateman. He cracks me up, but he makes comments regurlarly about "glad he is working" and "I just wanna keep my job" and just making fun of himself. He is still humble and naturally funny. I ordered AD on dvd. I am unfortunately one of those people who didn't jump on it while it was running to see how brilliant it was.
