  • two words...Home Birth

  • @tub01044

What if their home consists of a dirt floor or is nothing better than a field eh? Don't think so modernly and put yourself in their shoes. Many there live in poverty and just giving birth on a simple plastic chair must feel like a luxury.

  • Honestly there is no choice BUT TO WAIT. There is nothing THEY can do unless the government helps.

  • oh my GOD.............

  • this breaks my heart

  • ADEH?! How could they do this?! Im from Ghana and I have never seen anyone do this kind of thing there! This is disgraceful!

  • "They have to wait." How the HELL can a pregnant woman wait while she's in labor???!!!! I don't know what it's like to be pregnant let alone be in labor and from the looks on their faces....they can't wait.

  • @honeyflash1 Well, it's either wait or...... what? lol What else can they do? If the baby is coming then the baby is coming, no matter where they are.

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee canada governemnet of Ghana's this sick look at thoes woman in pannnnnnn dumdit help them there governemnet just think about there selfe

  • Look at this and yet the governemnet of Ghana's priority is to buy 5 jet planes. And you will think we have sensible leaders ruling Ghana. Its annoying very annoying and disgusting to say the least. I detest the Governemnet in Ghana

  • this is disgusting. nasty dirty fucking men just knock them up constantly and they're constantly shitting out kids, all the while there is no money or means for any medical care over there.

  • I hate Africa.

  • i cant believe they have just 10 beds..this is outrageous

  • How can one help because this is not fair to our mothers, sister and neighbors.

  • how can help if they want to.......let us know.

  • great comment...we sure will

  • Government intervention?! We'll be waiting a long time for that to happen. In your little communities actively raise money and get a trusted source to facilitate the buying of beds. WE can do this! If we all start doing something, less women will die. We can't do it all, but we can help!

  • WHAT A SHAME. CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING TO OUR PEOPLE IN THE 21 CENTURY. I AM REALLY SADDENED AND PERTURB BY THIS. THIS IS A TOLAL FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE HEALTH MINISTRY. THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL YOUNG AFRICAN LIVING IN THE DEVELOP WORLD. PLEASE, LET US BE ERUDITE WITH OUR TIME. GOVERNMENT ALONE CANNOT DO IT ALL. WE WILL HAVE TO BE CREATIVE AND HELP OUR PEOPLE. THIS SITUATION IS NOT LIMITED TO GHANA. IT IS HAPPENING ALL OVER AFRICA......

  • @LARKOVNIKOV Exactly, this is really shocking, im in tears by watching this, i feel so sorry for them i cannot imagine how extremely painful it must have been, :'( That is REALLY bad..

  • why can't the UN or something fund a modern hospital? Or even birth centers with midwifes?

  • I'm apalled to see this sort of situation in the 21st century. It's dehumanising to say the least. Is there anything that can be done to help these women - and those in the future? This issue needs highlighting - thanks for posting.

  • Ghana politikers please do something about this and stop driving three cars in your hauses!!!

  • awurade...wei dee enye koraa..the government gta do sumin bout dis

This is Ridge hospital? I thought of much better standards when I heard the name Ridge Hospital. This is plain dangerous and unsanitary.
