Wolf is NOT bad, his problems are his recovery (IMO, one of the worst in the game, its angle issues really hurts it) and he gets raped by chain grabs and locks just like Fox. Still, he has amazingly fast air speed and a great back air. Personally, he feels light until he gets offstage when he feels like a very heavy character. He hasn't a short hop laser spam like Falco though.
Good people never get fooled by his laser spam and forward smash being used more than twice in a row.

I dont think so. I think it just appears as so from illusion. He has his Brawl (and Wii) settings on Widescreen (16:9 ratio) But when this was uploaded, it was uploaded fullscreen, this creating the illusion that the Landmaster is taller and fatter looking.

I Disagree About meta knight, he is VERY Cheap! i sometimes go to weekend hobby stores and have local tourny's and people spam the SHIT outta his tornado thing and all his move can be used to save himself, AND all his moves are extremely powerfull! now snake i agree with you i believe he is underated, his Down smash is horrible though, and his F-air is kinda slow but AMAZINGLY strong!

For Wolf's final smash, he, Panther and Leon should have gotten into Wolfens and randomly fly around yelling insults, and then all of their ships crash in the middle for a finish.
I like how wolf's gun doesn't have infinite range. While infinite range is nice, it's hard to reflect wolf's gun and make it hit wolf. Plus he has a reflector of his own to counter infinite range.
Though his final smash doesn't last as long as Falco's. I mean, I love how I can get not one, but two KOs with Falco's landmaster, even if the enemy just stands there and keeps their invincibility.
I think Wolf is one of the best characters in the game. He's not cheap. He's strong, pretty fast and pretty heavy and he's easy to get used to. However unlike characters like Pit and Metaknight there is room for skill. His Wolf Flash is extremely good if you link up a combo correctly.

yeah it has a short range, but when u do it in a propper distance (when u hit the target in the limit of the range or a bit less), Wolf gives and additional strike (like the Up + B) and it's preety strong^^
true but it's like that for a reason. If you manage to hit anyone straight on with Wolf's side b it's like a meteor smash giving that lightning stun thing.
Just watch your opponents patterns if they are playing as Wolf, and you will successfully get the win. And if by some chance that he summons the tank, just make sure your not in front of the tank, or on top of it.

You can own some, but not all. Pit is cheap as hell (I hate people being able to compete big off of cheap tactics), MK is ok, same with Snake and Ike, but the Pokemon Trainer is gay. All people do with him is switch out their Pokemon so they can't get hit.
Wolf isn't the cheapest, he's just has a balanced moveset. It depends on who's playing as him that makes him deadly in battle. I think Wolf was a very splendid addition to Brawl...he's just plain awesome.

Personally, I rarely use the side B smash as Wolf, and he probably just won out of luck because he kept doing that same move. I don't do that. I use a variety of attacks with him, and you also have to remember that just because someone plays with Wolf, doesn't mean that they have the match in the bag. There will always be someone who will be more skilled at another character than than most people, Wolf or not.

sonics my main. if you want to have a fun time playing against sonic, go against someone who's good with him. other than that, sonic can get really annoying. playing against the fastest character in the game can be quite the challenge.

To the maker of this video... You say he has bad range????? FSmash anyone? Not to mention the laser. Knockback? DSmash, Dthrow (at high percentages), DAir, all have great knockback... His only real issue is Recovery. and MAYBE kill moves, because dsmash is his only reliable kill move below say... 90%
Even more difficult is hitting someone with the "sweet spot" of his side-B special. It's an automatic meteor more or less if you connect right at the end. Risky move to use.

Most of his air attacks are similar to Falco's and (this is where he is most different) his A attacks do vary the most, however they are the same spped as both fox and falcos.

Personally, I'd say there are enough differences in their move sets, speed, and power to justify a third character...except for the final-smash...having the same thing on 3 chars is bullshit.
Also, If you haven't played Brawl, you wouldn't realize that you'll NEVER be able to play ANYTHING comfortably in Brawl if Melee is your only experience, especially across characters. You wouldn't make it out of tourney pools using Brawl Wolf like a Melee Falco

I found that the easiest way to unlock Wolf is to do Boss Battles with Falco or Fox on Easy mode.
but I did rush through SSE with a friend and cleared classic on intense with Falco to unlock boss battles.........

Don't get me wrong - Wolf is definitely badass. And he's a good character. I play him as an alt.
HOWEVER - There is no way in hell he's the best of the three Star Fox characters. Falco destroys above all. I play him as my main.
And for the record, Wolf's recovery kills.

i agree and admit that i enjoy using comboes because that is a defenit must when playing sonic no doubt and yes i will spam the final smash and what ever i have chance to get for a good opertunity i do not deny that either.
but i have problems when no matter what ever i did i never get the smash ball and then my question to you is how the hell do you not get it when your the fastest charecter in the game?

Personally, I rarely use the side B smash as Wolf, and he probably just won out of luck because he kept doing that same move. I don't do that. I use a variety of attacks with him, and you also have to remember that just because someone plays with Wolf, doesn't mean that they have the match in the bag. There will always be someone who will be more skilled at another character than than most people, Wolf or not.

Yeah exactly. I don't understand if people hate something, they watch what they hate anyways. And no one didn't have to give me a thumbs down. I am just saying; Wolf isn't the cheapest character out of the entire roster. If someone who is skilled at Wolf is fighting against you, then of course it'll be hard. If not, then no one should have any problems.

OK, people need to wipe the fact out of their minds that things are cheap. If you hate chain grabs, stay away from walls. If you hate projectile spam, you're retarded for not jumping over it. I used to think things were cheap, but I learn to counter "cheap" things and got better.

Then you have yet to see me fight, as I main Sonic, and I'm pretty good with him. I'm not n00bish, as I never use his Homing attack in normal brawls, unless I have a Smash ball and do it by accident, or I just use it for recovery.

sonics my main. if you want to have a fun time playing against sonic, go against someone who's good with him. other than that, sonic can get really annoying. playing against the fastest character in the game can be quite the challenge.

To the maker of this video... You say he has bad range????? FSmash anyone? Not to mention the laser. Knockback? DSmash, Dthrow (at high percentages), DAir, all have great knockback... His only real issue is Recovery. and MAYBE kill moves, because dsmash is his only reliable kill move below say... 90%

Even more difficult is hitting someone with the "sweet spot" of his side-B special. It's an automatic meteor more or less if you connect right at the end. Risky move to use.

to punch your theory to brown rubbel all of his B-moves are virtually an identical copy with the look, speed and power of them changed, but they do the same thing. Most of his air attacks are similar to Falco's and (this is where he is most different) his A attacks do vary the most, however they are the same spped as both fox and falcos.

All right...I'ma put my two cents into this.
Personally, I'd say there are enough differences in their move sets, speed, and power to justify a third character...except for the final-smash...having the same thing on 3 chars is bullshit.
Also, If you haven't played Brawl, you wouldn't realize that you'll NEVER be able to play ANYTHING comfortably in Brawl if Melee is your only experience, especially across characters. You wouldn't make it out of tourney pools using Brawl Wolf like a Melee Falco
