Both this song and "No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus" are ones that my 83-year-old aunt (my mom's older sister) sings over and over in church. When she passes on, every time I hear those songs, I'll think of her.
this song helped me to get saved. I played it over and over again. This and Yolanda Adams I Open Up My Heart. I recommend these songs for an alter call.
Our Dear friend "Peanut Faircloth" sang this song often and got to talk with and hear Dottie in Ringgold GA a few years ago not long before she went to be with the Lord. Peanut and Dottie are singing now in their eternal home,he passed in March 2010. Thanks for posting this wonderful song. "TRUST JESUS"
At 2:20 sec you can see wy Elvis would have sung this song so well, Elvis was set to recored this song before he died but at At 2:20 sec you can see Elvis all over it....
The Rambos were one of the greatest Gospel singing evangelists. They ahd some high pentecostal meetings back in the day. Dottie Rambo and Nancy Harmon are my two favorites.
we use to call them phd's "Pentecostal Hair Do's" I remember a lot of those women back then shoutin' their hairpins out of there hair. Nothin' like it!
Those hairdos are still helping bring people to Jesus. Whenever I see "Praise Puffs" or even a "Glory Hive", I remeber all those church ladies and the message they brought, sometimes in song! There needs to be a coffee table book....
I feel cheated to have missed the Rambos, but I was a little busy with the military at the time. Later, I did hear many musical groups singing Dottie's songs.
This song really touched me when I needed to return to the Lord. The REAL message is we (I) cannot "win" favor. We (I) are unworthy! It is only because Jesus shed his blood and is willing to look beyond our (my) faults and see the contents of my heart.
Dottie Rambo's legacy has surely made a difference to my life and I thank God for her dedication to His WORK and Kingdom. May she rightfully receive her reward in the HIGHEST PLACE.
Beautiful. I love this song!

Thank you for this recording. This song brings my mother peace and joy. I needed to find a version that matched what she would sing to me.

The music to Danny Boy is so beautiful to begin with, and then Dottie came along and put the most profound words to this beautiful melody. Sublime
