after you run it for while you don't even see that 3rd rail, if you weather your rail and ballast it, the 3 rail seems to go away... 3 rails means easy wiring and lots of fun

It makes me wonder - why bother with all the scenic details (and it IS very well done) when the layout is three rail and the track and wheels look like toys. GOOD for  ATLAS in catering for the 2 rail modeller (as well as the three rail toy player) It's a shame that O scale USA is plagued by three rail !

MTH DCS is the finest control system. I never have trouble with it. I do have trouble with With Lionel`s new operating system, so I went back to TMCC.

I love these big 3 rail o gauge layouts i see at all the greenberg shows.I want to start a high rail club near union nj but very few are in that area-i know of the r valley hi railers but thats a long haul and i also know of the nysme near the meadowlands (2 RAIL O GAUGE-SCALE)but none close . anyway check out my hi rail layout-if i ever redo it ill have 2 mainlines

atlas is very nice and relistic but i like mth i just got my order from mth i ordered a hudson steam engine and passenger the exact replica of the one that carried the king of england from vancover to british colombia and my layout is 24x17 feet and i left a part for about 5 foot extensine dont now what to build on it tho

I called Atlas awhile back and told them they could`nt "keep me off them" if they had MTH sound sets/control system.... HANDS DOWN their stuff`s the best! I hope someday they will.... Thank`s for this.
