Died young thats sad. But I mean if they were going to go to a party and drink underage than they should've had a parent or guardian pick them up. They should've never been drinking anyway they were underage. Can't teenagers wait till they're 21 and legal to start drinking. Never get in a car with someone who has been drinking either.
I don't want to sound heartless. I mean yeah it's sad they died so young. But they were 18, they should know better than to drunk drive. Why are they classed 'victims' of drunk driving, none of them stopped the other, none of them disagreed with it, it was their own faults really :(. I pay all respects to their families for their losses, but it should have been easily avoided.
at 18, you say they should have known better. I agree with you. but then what about the adults who sold them the alcohol? shouldnt they have especially known better? my daughter didnt know the driver & did not know he was drinking- so she didnt have the chance to disagree. I admit my daughter paid the ultimate price for drinking that night. however i also hold the adults responsible because if it were not for them, my child could not have been intoxicated.
@MrsAlcantara011709 I'm far from heartless. Their deaths were sad, but the pathetic truth is, if they had any f***ing brains or morals, they would still be alive right now. No intelligent person drinks and drives. Likewise, no intelligent or decent person ever breaks the law. Meaning, by drinking when they weren't legally allowed to, they were criminals.
interesting that you dont ask or mention the adults who provided them the alcohol in the first place. i guess it's always easier to blame the dead passengers. btw- Kelli did not know her driver and she did not know he was intoxicated as multiple witnesses stated he did not act drunk in any way & no one saw him drinking at the "party". Kelli was in the car for less than 20 minutes b4 the crash. she was getting a ride home with Jason, who lived by us & his ride sadly was Tommy
@kellilainedoa While the people who provided the alcohol have a small role, that doesn't mean they're to blame. They were criminals. They drank when they weren't legally allowed to drink. All of them were brainless pieces of sh**. If they had any f***ing brains, they would still would still be alive.
small role? the adults bought the alcohol & gave these students a place to drink it, watched them become intoxicated & let them drive away. it's also against the law to purchase alcohol for those underage! had the adults not bought the alcohol- the kids would still be alive.
@kellilainedoa The brainless morons still made the choice to drink it. It wasn't forced down their throats. Just like with drug dealers, they might be responsible for them people having access to drugs, but they aren't responsible if they overdose. They still made their own decision. They were criminals. They were brainless morons. No intelligent person does what they did
The first song isn't dedicated to her. If you watched and had taken time to understand the video it is more like a story of what can happen if you go to a PARTY and drink and then drive! So many young people die from this silly act and don't realise what can happen. Kelli did die so please don't disrespect. Her mother loved this video as it means her daughters death isn't in vain. Have some respect.
@MrWolfwar2 stfu who cares if u were drinking while driving but survived that doesn't mean anything the only thing that matters is that ur still alive and not dead and u shouldn't be making mean comments about other people's death
My lil cuzzin was killed by drive drunk she was only 16 year old ... she died with her 3 friends... but in that crash.... its killed 5 people all together the last person was killed by drunk driver was the c-weed band's wife :( but nicole(my lil cuzzin) died two after her birthday.
Drunk driving hurts more people than many realize. I've been a 1st Responder for 15 years, trained in advanced first aid by the military. Before I was 20 I had already watched a girl, my friend, die trapped in a car, me holding her hand, doing everything I could to make her stay alive till medics arrived. I failed. The person who hit her was drunk. I still see her busted-up face every night. Drunk driving claims MANY victims, some who weren't even in the wreck.
This video made me cry. Two 17 years olds from my school died drinking and driving. It's so sad I don't understand why anybody would get in a car after drinking.
this indeed is sad. but i have no sympathy for those who drink & drive, cuz things like this happen way toooooooo much; cuz am so tired of knowing all kinds of drinking driving accidents and yet they are still happening everywhere everyday. its just hopeless, and this is why i now believe that as adults, when knowing all these while still doing it, it is then YOUR decision & therefore should to pay YOUR price even if sometimes THE PRICE MAY BE TOO HIGH that makes us heart-broken. simple like tis

This is such a very heart touching broadcast. And what a beautiful and attractive young woman Kelli was. This is likely gonna make me laugh and gloat every time I see a drunk getting arrested on tv police programs like "Cops" and John Bunnell's "World's Wildest Police Videos."
on 0:46 I think thats a Saab 900 car, these cars are like tanks and were so strong and well - made. (If you hit anything in it you go straight through it) One of the safest cars in the world were Saab and Volvos.
ive seen parents tell their teenagers ,"dont go out late " or "dont go with those crazy friends" but most of them dont listen and they get mad for not going but when they hear in the news a couple of teens die becuz they where drunk and where going faster then the limit but she notice that those drunk teenagers where actually here friends then she has nothing to say imagine that was u ... parents maybe yelling at u becuz they wont let u do what u want thats becuz they love u and care for u
This is truly sad. And it happens too much. The problem here is this Dunk Driving propaganda we've all had crammed down our throats over the last 3 decades. Nobody ever questions the 'driving' part of the equation, only the 'drinking'. Take the 'driving' away and leave the 'drinking' and THERE IS NO ACCIDENT. NO DEATHS. Paleeeeze people use you brains. Think intelligently about these things. This accident happened from irresponsible driving, maybe uninhibited by drinking, maybe not.
...continued- A tire could blow unexpectedly , and crash kabamm your passenger is dead, and oops you had 1 beer and it's AUTOMATICALLY DRUNK DRIVING THAT CAUSED ALL OF IT. What a load of shit. And if drinking was not so suppressed and shamed upon, and illegal under 21, kids would have no reason to hide it, binge, and be stupid. They would have more respect for the substance and have DIFFERENT reasons to socialize.
I am 45 years old and i have three children and they are older now and when i see this video i realise that i have tried to keep them out of harms way but they hate me for it . I have taken a lot of blame from my wife for the childrens complaints and remarks over the years because i didnt let them run off with their freinds and go places when ever they wanted and some times i feel guilty for takeing away their fun but when i see this i am so happy that i made the choice to say NO .
You did the right thing, you did it to protect them and others. Don't feel bad, the parents of most of these people accused of DUI wish they were as "strict" as you.
@8675tree09 Well done for being a responsible parent and not taking the easy way out.I'm going through that now with my 16yrd and 14yrd who hate me picking them up and would rather get their friends to bring them home. I would rather be hated now than never be able to hug them again and tell them how much I love them.My mother had to bury her son(my brother) when he was 24yrd. I as a mother now could not fathom doing that because it would destroy me an I would want to die. DON'T DRINK & DRIVE

i guess drunk people do die in car crashes I always thought it was the other people the drunk people crash into. I'm sorry to say, but i don't know if i feel sorry for these kids or not. They were under age drinking and they drove home, They could of been smart enough and not drive but i guess drinking does some stupid stuff to people. I don't mean to be a dick or an ass but that's just the way i feel. Ive had friends die from drunk drivers.
That is sooo sad...we just lost two people in my hometown to drunk driving too. It was two teenagers, and they didn't even do anything wrong- they hadn't been drinking or anything at all, but they were hit by someone else who was driving drunk. It's really sad how many people die every year because of it. I learned in school that one person dies in an alcohol-related crash every 15 minutes. :(
May they Rest in peace. Heart breaking. I made a special vlog about how more warnings are needed and i also ask why arent there warnings printed on the bottles and cans of alcoholic drinks. Take a look at my vlog.
To Kelli's Mom, I'm so sorry to see this. I wish people wouldn't drink and drive, but all we can do is pray. My heart goes out to you. I wish I had the words to comfort you and take the pain away. But I can't. But I promise to pray for you....GOD bless you...
