that is higher what my horse can normally jump but earlier this month we jumped our jumping record and it was 5 feet! nearly as tall as me as im a 5 ft2 11 year old girl :)

Wonderful horse and rider! I dunno if you are a fan of constructive criticism, and i am sorry if this offends you in any way:

I believe you were leaning at the horse before the refusal, just try and sit up before the jumps and the only other little thing was give her some rein over the jump, i used to do the same thing as you which is why i recognize it, your elbows are to close to your body and are forcing your bum to come up out the saddle, otherwise perfect position! :)

Ummm you have the wrong sizes. Thats about 2ft max , 2t9 - 3ft is the equivalent to 2 of your wholes. the same with the rest

results dont just go up by hole

yeah... most of the time the "ring" is empty but theres plenty of trail traffic, dump trucks, cyclists, construction, crazy hippies, etc in the area. Our actual barn is real small.

ohhh, because everybody hates horses in that neighborhood, they are slowly trying to push us out. We actually have to pick up our own horse poop on streets and trails, like dog owners. its kind of BS. Our trails go under freeway bridges and all the pretty ones have been closed down to equestrians. Id be happy on a farm in the middle of nowhere as long as I had my horses. =]

Funny you say that cuz its actually in Orange County... newport beach to be exact. The arenas in whats technically a flood channel and the horses are in a residential neighborhood. I wish I was in the middle of nowhere, but thanks!

haha pocket rocket I love it... she can be the devil but i luv her to death. She's perfectly capable of jumping 3'9" but convincing her to make an effort is half the battle. Shes so different than the TBs it took me awhile to learn how to ride her.
