@wolffan123 - Yes, I know about the original size of the breed and how they were bred down. I just meant by "oversized" that he doesn't fit the "standard" for the AKC. Thanks for the info though, and for telling everyone they're wrong! I get so tired of telling people he's NOT a Samoyed or other breed.

aw that reminds me of my dog (westie), shes 2years old and was on my lap and she was so tired she was sitting down with her head tucked under her frount leg like a bird does with its wing, then she woke up and when i nudged her a tiny bit she just fell over where she was so tired. It was so cute and funny at the same time.

he's a pom, not a samoyed like some people here have said. he's grown since this video and he definitely does not match the samoyed description. however, he's an oversized pom (12 lbs) so that might explain his size:day old ratio when this was taken.

@chinad8wlz Acually he's not oversized at all, hes the real deal for poms, back when they were first bred they were even bigger than that, like my female pom, she's about 15lbs and almost goes up to my knees (but not quite) So all of you guys who thinks that he's not a pom hes a samoyed or hes oversized are all wrong! Plus that is why they call them tea cup poms or toy not just pomeranian because they were bred down to a smaller size. Please get your facts right. :)

@diamondsontherock Well there aren't acually different kinds of pomeranians, the pom in this video is a bigger type or the original size of the first acual pomeranian(like mine) than the average pom you see every now and then. If you are really wanting a pom like this you should check out the breeders adult pomeranians, when I bought my pomeranian the people at the pet store told us that she was only going to weigh about 6-8 lbs turns out she became 15lbs.

@wolffan123 But u see how the original pomerarian has long hair...and they look kind of skinny but has alot of ling fur to hide their size....I've never seen actual pom like this anywhere, everyone around me has the furry pomeranian, I saw alot on youtube that look like this, short hair, chubby fave poms, the rest are regular long hair poms. I like this kind.

@diamondsontherock Well I believe the pomeranian in the video is still a puppy, the fur on a puppy doesnt stay long and it will end up like all the other poms when they hit adulthood. Every pom will have that long fur no matter what, but you cangroom them into having that shortfuzzy look(although poms are a lot of work, anyone who has or had a pom knows if you dont want to pay for a groomer its gonna a while to try and groom them yourselfAlso they have a thick undercoat that u need to brushdaily
