I think the scene with the cops Loeb had a wreck in that stage, but managed to finish. The car was falling apart on the drive to service. The wheels on the right basically fell off, hence the clip with Loeb sitting in the window to keep the car up. I'm guessing the cop pulled him over cuz he was driving on two wheels. Why can't they let us get away with that??!!

The cars have to be
road legal" because they drive public roads between stages. His car was of cource not, but the cop was a prick to pull him over, as most cops are.
