  • cant wait. looks so good

  • I loved this episode, can't wait til next season!!!

  • I think Olivia dies because Josh Jackson (Peter) said and I quote (not exactly) "someone is going to die - but it won't matter by the end of the episode."

  • OMGOMGOMG! :O can't wait!!!!

  • I'm still waiting for them to explain the meaning behind the machine component Fauxlivia stole from our universe.

  • i think peter will come back to our time cause at the end he said "I've SEEN doomsday..." so he's talking in the past tense

  • @principessa2892 pretty good observation...!!!

  • OHhh i hope they dont stay 15 years in the future! tv shows always go in the future when babies are born so I thought this might happen.

  • at least I KNOW for sure that i won t be happy with anyone dying

  • @qix77 Peter was setting fire to the coffin in the promo, so he can't be the one who dies (that time).

  • who else finds it funny that the super-advanced race that existed millions of years before the dinosaurs, wrote down the entire history of their greatest technological achievement…on small, rolled-up pieces of paper?

  • @Damon242 Well even with computers we still draw. And if the person who drew those pictures knew Peter and Olivia and all this would happen then they must have known that the first Sam Weiss would find the manuscript and since he wouldn't have had a computer, the info needed to be on paper. And anyone can take information on a piece of paper and try to decode it but on a computer? We might not have the port for that on our computers.

  • @AlleyKitty13 If it's destiny then no action can be taken that doesn't fall into it. They wouldn't need to write it down on a piece of paper to ensure the outcome (an outcome they have yet to explain how they knew).

Most other civilizations used tablets, not paper. Tablets survive the ages, paper often doesn't. And for an advanced race, I would have been expecting something like a hologram.

  • When you think about it, it's kind of sad how long these machines actually take to do serious damage.

    Slowest doomsday device EVER!

  • @Damon242 You have to remember that the Machine had only half of Peter's DNA to activate it. And without the full person in it's grasp it was running on the power of a tiny vial of blood (if you believe Peter acts as a battery of sorts and not just the on switch).

  • @AlleyKitty13 I try not to think it's running on a vial of blood (after all, how'd they activate it? Did they just splash the blood onto it?)

I go by the understanding that, because it has no conscious driver (and according to Sam, what the machine will do depends on the mind set of the driver), it hasn't functioned as it would normally have.

  • The machine switches on, it opens up a vortex. As more time passes, it's electrical storms and microquakes.

Is it just me or do things actually seem to be improving as time goes by?

  • I hope it's not Olivia...I think that she is essential to the show and I don't like the other olivia as much as I like our olivia...

  • It might just be our Olivia. Here's why : The child in the drawing looks very young, probably around 5-6 yrs. Which means it can't be Henry, Fauxlivia's son coz he would be like 15 yrs old by then. So Henry drawing that sketch doesn't make sense (15 yr olds don't draw such sketches). Which increases the chances that it's probably our Olivia and Peter's son/daughter in that drawing. I'm going with daughter.

  • @meet123able That all depends on;

    a) whether the drawing of the child is as you perceive.

    b) whether it's Fauxlivia in the drawing or Olivia.

  • @Damon242 Hey it's just a guess. But I'm pretty sure it is our Olivia and her daughter. And would you tell me why that drawing looks like the one Olivia made in Subject 13? And can that mean its just a memorable object from of our dead Olivia's life?

  • @meet123able Is that question rhetorical?

  • @Damon242 No. I actually suspected Olivia would be dead. I suspected Peter was crying for Olivia, and not for any other reason.

  • Anyone notice that in the drawing, the colors used are red, blue, and yellow? Peter is in red and blue, Olivia is in all blue, and the little kid is in yellow, blue, and red....

  • @qix77 I bet we'll be cheated, and someone will die in the vision but no in the events of the present day.

  • @qix77 I'm pretty sure that it won't be Peter. After all, he needs to survive in order to return with his vision of the future, and his in-promo line about having seen doomsday seems to compliment that.

  • "you've destroyed my universe..." isn't a possible thing to say, if your universe has been destroyed... perhaps if it got a little messed up, maybe...

  • i dont understant he go into the machine and he travel to the future

  • @nikox1821 but he's also known in the future. So, he obviously got out of the machine and lived, his consciousness has just returned to it. So many questions surrounding that one.

  • so season 4 will be set in the future?

  • @agustinn94 I personally hope not. I want to see events in the present resolved first.

(Note: have you noticed that nobody in the future has aged a day?)

  • @Damon242 peter has some gray and both walters look much older..Olivia however, still looks sorta the same. maybe this is her when peter gets back from the future..i guess we will have to wait and see.

  • @maniclater What they all really look like (except Walter) are their 'Brown Betty' counterparts.

  • only got into fringe half way through season 2,u can imagine it was hard to follow so i found it on demand tv and watched from season 1 episode 1 and have been seriously hooked,Without doubt for me the best tv show along side 24,24 has ended and the season finale of fringe looms,Its not a great feelin knowin that mayb at somepoint within the next year season 4should arrive,I hear it got the go ahead, but we r never sure until its almost bein aired,This show is simply awesome, and then some

  • Damn, Peter is one lucky bastard. He's the only person from either universe to have had sex with someone from both universes and he's banged both Olivias. Now if he can only manage to have a 3-way with both Olivias. That would be awesome.

Plus when Olivia told him she loved him, he didn't say it back. He got what he wanted ahahahaha. She shouldn't have given it up to him.

  • @MrJumpmanJunior Indeed! Based on this whole time traveling thing did the universes get screwed up because he focused on Olivia? Maybe to save both universes he has to think of both of them? "Olivia I'm back from the future and the only way to save them is to be with both of you" That would be great.

  • @qix77 No one ever gets 'killed off' in Fringe. The writers are so clever and inventive so i'm sure whatever they choose to do will be for the best! Hope this makes you pissed-on .

  • I'm assuming Sam will die because the title of the last episode was "The Last Sam Weiss"

but regardless SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR THE FINALE. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • i would say nina, broyles or sam....assuming the deaths are in OUR universe.....it could be walternate, fauxlivia, or that chubby scientist that keeps popping up everywhere....

  • I can't wait to see Gene in the future! And she better not be the one who dies!

  • Is it me or Peter looks like Jack Bauer at some points?

  • I'm guessing peter and olivia are going to have a daughter :O

  • I don't think this is the future in alt world, its more like prophetic of "roads not taken"... plus they called Peter as "Agent Bishop"... this means this is the world if Walter never took Peter from there....

  • im going to keep watching this until it makes sense.. or till its friday.

I think fridays gonna come first

  • @qix77 I think someone is going to Die in the Future, but then Peter goes back to the present and they are alive, I don't know why Peter is in the Future, But I can't wait to fnd out

  • You know this is bad when there are 10 observers watching :3

  • @Roy15x is fringe finished.......please tell me they did not cancel the show after that epic episode......

  • @Legendofzoom It's not over.Season four is coming on September.

  • @Legendofzoom cool thank you

  • The Observers are staring at the Liberty Statue on our world -- and theres 10 of them.

  • @PlasticFunnel That can't be good :S

  • My guess is Olivia... at 0:24 you can see Walter in the back, and Broyles with a short woman (Nina perhaps), and next to them a man who looks like Peter

  • olivia looks like she out on some weight in the future......

  • @qix77 i have a feeling that it will be broyles. at 0:23 you see a person having a military funeral with a bunch of people that look like they are in the uniforms standing around. broyles is a colonel so idk, thats just my thought.

  • @daspoon456 yeah thats what i thought to :[

  • Olivia will die in the future for sure, but it won't matter because Peter will go back to prevent that.

  • Well, I´m sure that if it happens that Olivia, Peter or Walter dies, that death won´t be definitive. There's no Fringe without any of them.

  • I think two universes merged. And in a really simple and weird way.

  • The video says 15 years in the future. Anyone have any idea why that might be? In the last episode we saw Peter in 2021. That's just 10 years. So how come the video says 15 years? Guesses, anyone?

  • Comment removed

  • @meet123able i dont know maybe a mistake???? in the trailer i mean.

  • @daspoon456 that only meant that the building was built in 2021, not necessarily that they're in that year. so they are in 2026, and the building was built 5 years ago.

  • @meet123able the monoment is from 2021

  • @MajinBabu Yeah, you're right. Didn't think of that because of the excitement while watching this. Thanks.... Also, it might just be our Olivia because I don't think the child in the drawing could be Henry, since he would be like 15 yrs old by then. So he couldn't possibly draw that, which may mean it's probably not Fauxlivia. That looks like someone way younger has drawn it. Might be Peter and Olivia's son/daughter. I'm going with daughter. What do you think?

  • @meet123able it's a daughter (unless the boy keeps his blonde hair long but I don't think so) and I'm pretty sure it's Olivia's kid because the drawing is VERY similar to the one Liv drew at the end of "Subject 13". It may be a hint.

  • @Hootshot112 Yeah......!!! I think we have a pretty solid guess here....!!! Let's hope this one proves right.

  • @meet123able The plack said 2021, when the Freedom Tower was complete.. i'm guessing this is 5 years after the tower is complete?

  • @joe133322 yeah..... so simple..... probably didn't get that idea coz of the thought-rush I had while watching it. Cool...... thanx..

  • @qix77 Same here. Won't stop watching. But will be disappointed if Olivia, Peter or Walter are dead.

  • OMG!!! The finale is going to be EPIC...!!!! And the cliff-hanger too. Can't wait for season 4.

  • flashforwards, 'heart of the island' at 0:12... feels so LOST-like!!

  • man, this 3-part finale feels rushed...

  • @Damon242 no it doesnt, a three part finale is not rushed at all. a one part finale that answeres gives 20 shitty answers (Lost) is rushed. and then ends in a big fart (also Lost) like a slap to the face to its fans saying "fuck you!"

    (yeah, thats Lost too.)

  • @daspoon456 You think that Fringe is a better show than Lost? Please.

A three-part finale, in theory, isn't rushed. Although the amount of information being introduced in a single part out of the three is rushed, and having those things introduced only paid off within the same episode is rushed, and moving into this finale just off of the meaningless events of the Bell-Olivia arc, given that the machine storyline hasn't been touched upon for seven episodes makes this entire finale rushed.

  • @Damon242 you over analyze this show like it was your job. they introduced alot of stuff but the only thing paid off was peter going into the machine, which was introduced from the end of season 2. and they have mentioned the machine ark almost every freaking episode, if you actually paid any attetion. and yeah, lost sucks DICK.

  • @daspoon456 wow, you sound normal, don't you?

Ok, so it's justified if I go 'don't forget guys, there's a machine out there' every episode, which is the equivalent of what Fringe did, repeating the same dialogue for seven episodes while it filled time with soul magnets and meaningless flashbacks, and Polivia "yes, no, maybe, now we're together, now we're not" business.

There's hasn't been any progression in the machine storyline since Nina talked to Sam, which was seven episodes ago.

  • @Damon242 oh my gosh, why do you even still watch this show. ive seen your comments on dozens of fringe videos and you're always bitching or whining about something. despite the bad ratings fringe gets, you are one fan i would not mind see going on his way to something else. that isnt even what they say about the machine, the flashbacks are to give you information on how the events happening today began, if you want dumb flashbacks, see LOST again.

  • @daspoon456 A function of a flashback is to provide something that has relevance to the present events. 'Subject 13' provided nothing at all, no revelations, and was filled with continuity errors.

And Fringe is supposed to be a high-concept drama, it's audience is intended to be able to analyze and be critical of material.

Believe it or not, bad things can actually be said about your beloved Fringe. It's not the masterful and impervious-to-error programme you make it out to be.

  • @daspoon456 so I'm not about to roll over and play dumb slave to this programme as you seem to be doing. I actually have expectations, and a brain to accompany them.

  • @Damon242 lol, you talk like such an arrogant fuck dude. Subject 13 not only shows how walternate found out where Peter had gone, but it also showed that peter and olivia have met before, and other stuff...compared to lost that showed random flashbacks about, oh idk, Sawyer conning some random woman, then leaving her. john locke working at a weed making farm, or how about jack trying to figure out what to write for his wedding vows? lol.

  • @daspoon456 You're an idiot.

LOST only had a single flashback episode in its entire six-year run, and that was 'Across the Sea', and it was used to explain motivations and it also introduced the light which was paid off in the present storyline. Every other flashback within episodes paralleled with the island-events,for a purpose of characterization. That's its function. I can't believe that you didn't even realize that.

  • @Damon242 i think you are the dumb one, the whole first three seasons had flashbacks into the characters lifes every episode you clearly dont have any clue what you are talking about on either bases of either show. if there is one major fault of youtube, its that morons like you can get into stupid arguements so easily with morons like me. (sigh)

  • @daspoon456 What? Did you even read what I posted?

I said that you were stupid for not understanding that the flashbacks/flashforwards/flashsideways in LOST paralleled with the events on the island, for the purpose of characterization, and weren't just there for the sake of being there as you suggested.

your response to the above; "you clearly don't have any clue what you are talking about".

Nice, why not your original; "compared to lost that showed random flashbacks about, oh idk, [stuff]".

  • @Damon242 oh my gosh, will you just give it a rest already? you are the 1 in every 100 person who watched the episode friday night, and continue to shit on everbody's good time. you dont know what you are talking about because you yell about stuff that hasnt even happened in eithe show. if you are just SOOOOO sure of how to make the perfect series, i will like to see you try and make one, and have it be sucessful. in which case i expect nothing short of it winning awards every year.

  • @daspoon456 This coming from the person who felt it necessary to insult and curse in every second line of his posts?

"Shit on everybody's good time", eh? I simply said "this finale feels rushed", then you attacked me. Just who is it really that's the bad guy here? I expressed my honest opinion, and for it I got some incomprehensible, offensive twit challenging everything I say with profanity, arrogance, and a lack of understanding on how any of the things being discussed actually work.

  • @daspoon456 Moaned about LOST flashbacks and finale-structures, was proven wrong, and then just ignored it. Came back to try and insult me personally for a cheap victory, but then even that didn't work.

Got asked to back up his claims with some evidence, all this regarding 'Subject 13', but couldn't come up with a single thing the episode contributed.

  • @daspoon456 I find it ironic that, in defence of Fringe, you ask me to write a perfect show that's successful and wins awards every year.

I love Fringe, but I can't help but point out the fact that it is none of the above.

  • @Damon242 ugh, i am not commenting on this again. i have much better ways to spend my time than argue with people like you!!!!

  • @daspoon456 Wow, I'm so glad that you came back just to say that!

If you're going to go then just go. No one needs your announcement.

I'm content with the fact that when I asked you to back up your argument you could not. And by academic rule, that means your argument fails.

I guess those who scream profanity and hate, never prosper.

  • @Damon242 i have said all that needs to be said. goodbye.

    PS

    fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckhatehatehatehatehatescreamscreamscreamscreamscreamprosperlol

  • @daspoon456 Apparently you hadn't.

  • @daspoon456 Yes, 'Subject 13' did show us Walternate's immediate fallout from Peter's kidnapping, and how he discovered about the other side. Nice details, but it didn't add anything to present events. Which was my point; entire episodic-flashbacks must contribute to present events.

Olivia and Peter met once before, but then forgot about it. That has absolutely no impact on the present storyline at all.

Name something in 'subject 13' that contributed to the present-day storyline.

  • @daspoon456 And congratulations, you can swear on youtube!

It doesn't do anything for your argument though. In fact, quite literally, it only just takes up space.

  • @daspoon456 And I'll just add that, in terms of LOST, each finale did have parts (sometimes two, sometimes three), and were always extended episodes (two hours).

  • @Damon242 the only episode that was extended over 45 minutes was the season six finale (horrible, talk about being fucking rushed.) and the seaosn 4 finale (same thing) other than that every seaosn finale of lost felt rushed since they scrambled to add in action that all their seasons mostly lacked.

  • @daspoon456

season one - two parts (extended) for united states, three parts international

    season two - two parts

season three - three parts (officially two, but like Fringe's season three it's narratively three parts)

    season four - three parts

season five - two parts (shown together, like all LOST finales have been)

season six - broadcast at two and half hours with complete set by penultimate episode.

What was the penultimate to the fringe season 3 finale? 'Lysergic Acid Diethylamide'.

  • @Damon242 while LOSt fills time with sawyer and kait, or jack and kait trying to be together the whole time, and "were doing this"

    "no we arent"

"yes we are, im the leader"

"no we arent people like me better"

    (fist fight)

plotlines and dialouge that make no sense. and bullshit

  • @daspoon456 across six seasons and at the same time as exploring everything else (and they never once had an episode, or season-storyline actually built around it - i.e Fringe Season 3 and '6b').

And it's spelt 'Kate', not 'Kait'.

  • @Damon242 it can be spelled either way aristotle. and insetad of having one episode focousing on it, they spent the whole series with it. so yeah, LOSt is not the greatest show in the world like you make it out to be, bad things can be said about it too.

  • @daspoon456 But the character's name is spelt 'Kate'.

And I didn't say it was the greatest. You just used it in your tirade, and I simply pointed out that it's a much better show than Fringe is. You then nutted off even further.

Having a series-long idea (which was actually resolved in the first four seasons) is different to having a season or episode dedicated to it.

  • @daspoon456 btw what does Aristotle have to do with how a character's name is spelt?

  • Oh my freakin' god it's all of the observers! All the months! all together!

    Holy crap!

  • @Damon242 huh?

  • @ruudparklimy 3 seconds into the video, you see every single existing Observer (even those we haven't seen before) standing outside, looking up at the statue of liberty.

  • @Damon242 OMG you're right!! i missed that!! the observers standing in a circle!!

  • @ruudparklimy lol yeah

  • I know what we will do despite the result shown in the finale, we will get emotional, cry and stuff and whine while watching this...

  • Will Peter & Olivia be a family in the futune. I saw Peter looking at a drawing of a Mum, Dad & child.

  • I think Peter will see what could happened if he destroys the other universe..i don't think any of that would happen in real.Listen again for the last phrase which Peter says.

And besides I don't really want to watch Peter and Olivia dancing around each other for one more damn time! Please not again ;d

  • I'm stun from what I saw of this preview

  • I LOVE FRINGE!!!!

  • Walter's beard grew back?

  • I would think Peter would be the one to die because Joshua Jackson will be gone for the next year filming U.F.O.(or at least he's rumored to be taking an absence for a rumored movie on IMDB.)

As for the "girl" in the drawing for the promo, I believe its possible it might just be a boy with long hair.

  • I'm afraid it might be our Olivia that dies....Judging by the fact that, at the funeral-like clip at the end, all of our main characters appear to be present (Peter, Walter, Broyles, and who I think is Astrid), but there is no sign of Olivia.... I really don't think they can kill off Olivia, but then again, this is set in a different time/world/whatever so it makes any theories doubtful! Also when Olivia says "I wish things were different' could she and Peter be breaking up over Peter's son? :(

  • @BonesFreak1997 i'm really hoping it's the other Olivia i'm going based off the fact the the Olivia that we see tell Peter 'I wish things were different' had blonde hair. And our Olivia is blonde while faux-olivia is a red head so fingers crossed! Also Nina was missing from the scene i'm really hoping (but it's pretty doubtful considering peter was majorly sad) that it could be nina's funeral.

  • @principessa2892 Yeah Nina's absence occured to me as well, but although he would be affected by her death, I doubt he would be as grief-stricken as he appears to be.... I can't even begin to imagine Fringe without Olivia... If Olivia dies, Fringe will not only be missing her as a character, but also the key component of the Peter-Olivia relationship, which is essential to the "Fringe Formula: ! So, yeah.... OLIVIA CANNOT DIE! :(

    * fingers and toes crossed*

  • @qix77 I'll be annoyed too....but the final ep is set in the future. So for season 4 they wont be dead. And if Peter is successful Over There...he may alter the course of history and change what happens to whomever they kill off. I hope that made sense. At the moment i am seriously concerned for our Olivia!. All i do know is that we watch the BEST SHOW IN THE UNIVERSE!!! #Fringeawesome

  • Epic!! i think Gene dies because she cant live 15 years in a tiny space at Harvard. in anycase i cannot wait for this finale!! im trippin out like if i were on one of walters cocktails of LSD!!!

  • Confusing stuff. So is it a kind of combination of the two universes (they had 9/11, but also had Fringe Division uniforms)? But then again if that happened then would there be two of everyone? My head hurts!

  • hey anybody notice the drawing @ 0:31 does that mean peter now has a son and a daughter? one from each olivia! i really hope our olivia is not dead :'( heck i hope nobody from our side is dead! all i can say is damn season finale/season 3 is going to be EPIC! XD

  • @principessa2892 MY bad i meant the drawing @ 0:17!

  • Walternate's universe been destroyed but they have taken over Walter's universe? That is what i can see on the video..

  • E-P-I-C

  • OMG.....

    This gonna be..... interesting.

  • WHAT IS HAPPENING

  • 0:23 is that Olivia's funeral????!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! PLZ NOOO!!

  • Awwww ={(

  • so good....

  • Well at least we know that 2012 is not going to happen! :P lol!

    Can't wait!
