@ninja0wnzy0u I do it like this every time so it's not a matter of luck. Perhaps you are not quick enough so that the bad guys are waiting for you...instead of just arriving from their spawn point.

Have been stuck on this level for ages. I go back to it from time to time, and try it for a while before I get pissed off with it. Then I'll spend a few days going at it again trying for it. Watched one other video, and the time left was 6:50 at the first checkpoint. I was at 7:30 and thought then "Hm, least I'm doing ok for this far." Holy crap how fast you got to that point. You are where I'm at, checkpoint 2 at that time. Haven't used any M203 yet though. 6:22 left on the clock. Back to it.
you have exactly 2mins and 30 seconds to make it to a new check point. if you dont, the game was programmed to 'know' that if you arent THIS far by THIS time then you wont make it.
This is fucking impossible... The lack of checkpoints with the difficulty is taking the piss. Mind you, i haven't broke down and punched a hole in my pc and thrown it down the stairs like I did for the original on veteran :P no health regen and no checkpoints

I remember that after dozens of tries I would eventually get a checkpoint at some point before the area I was stuck on, as if the game knew you were stuck and needed help so it gives it to u, until u get stuck again and then it decides to throw another bone at you and give you another. Frustrating.

@CallumBirkin it was the only way I was able to beat it after a certain point because the game would be merciful and throw a checkpoint at me after a dozen retries. The part that took the most time was the part where you are in the corridors and there is very little cover and those assholes come running in with shotguns and there are about 4 other people in the back who can hit you with pinpoint accuracy the minute you get into their line of sight. God it was so hard to beat but I eventually did

Well, yeah, I have tried it several times .. I prefer running as fast as possible to the little gap you can see on the right side at 8:20.0 minutes left and then moving slowly through the right part - there are like 6 or 7 soldiers there - all at good spots to take them out fast .. when you reach the wall you go back to the mid part and kill the 3 people left .. it was hard for me, because i played without crosshair but with crosshair it should be no problem at all ...
I hate how you don't get a checkpoint at the missile silo area because the cargo room is freakin annoying. This vid will probably help me out alot though! Thanks! :D

I hate it when people say cod 5 and 6 because A. 3,WAW are made by Treyarch NOT IW and B. If it were cod 5 and 6 it would be in the title. And C. If they were cod 5 and 6 then they'd have to be 7 and 8 because of Finest hour and Big red one.

i have no doubt this is on vet, you can tell by the ai reactiontime when you round the corners. Oh and that clock that tealls you the time left. thats a big giveaway. well done vid dude. i just got mile high on vet and its my crowning acheivment. Had to tell you all coz im so proud lol. Also i'd say world at war on vet is the toughest. i have full acheivments on all cods except the online cheivos on cod 3 but im stuck somewhere on pelilu on vet. gutted

I've done this once on the PC but there is no achievement to show others so I am going through this the second time on the X360. I seriously hope nothing will go wrong by following your exact example. By the way, did the checkpoints happen? I don't see them in the video.
I feel like a darn stripper on the last segment of this stage because I'm getting spanked. The squad does nothing to help, at times grenades do no damage to the enemy and other times it seems enemies that didn't exist in the previous play, happen to become positioned in areas they don't belong. Awesome. I wouldn't even say the level itself is difficult, it's the extra wildness that occurs
@Fafhrdd Second here. Mile High Club is outta my reach. I'd just Finish the main campaign and then be happy with the 980G. I can spend the time saved from avoilding Mile High Club on other online games to rank up.

Fake. If they hit you once, they don't stop, and you die in 2-3 shots. Also, as soon as you see a leg or an arm of them, you're about to get pounded. That's what makes it Veteran.
You're trying to tell the guy who has beaten this game on Veteran 8 times how it works on Veteran. Just shut up and realize I'm better at this game than you and stop trying to make excuses for why I beat it so easily.

Also i'd say world at war on vet is the toughest. i have full acheivments on all cods except the online cheivos on cod 3 but im stuck somewhere on pelilu on vet. gutted

i fuckin hate this level but you showed me a easier way so thanks dude it is real you just got to learn how to play better and use the grenade launcher more when you get shot at you dont just die unless you get shot more that 3 or 4 time then you just get behind cover that is how i beat every thing else on vetern besides waw

I've done this once on the PC but there is no achievement to show others so I am going through this the second time on the X360. I seriously hope nothing will go wrong by following your exact example. By the way, did the checkpoints happen? I don't see them in the video.

I feel like a darn stripper on the last segment of this stage because I'm getting spanked. The squad does nothing to help, at times grenades do no damage to the enemy and other times it seems enemies that didn't exist in the previous play, happen to become positioned in areas they don't belong. Awesome. I wouldn't even say the level itself is difficult, it's the extra wildness that occurs

@Fafhrdd Second here. Mile High Club is outta my reach. I'd just Finish the main campaign and then be happy with the 980G. I can spend the time saved from avoilding Mile High Club on other online games to rank up.

I am STILL on this damn level, I got past the tunnel before the Nuclear Silo,I got a checkpoint... I forgot to save! I am now back at the fucking tunnel!

if you go to mission select and pick no fighting in the war room then you should get it. however all your checkpoints that you got will dissapear.

cod4 vet is so much harder than MW2 vet. i was able to almost every level in this except for Mile high club and this and it pisses me off

This is definitely one of the hardest ones in the game, along with Charlie Dont Surf, Hunted, Heat, One Shot One Kill and Mile High Club.
I've been able to do them all except for MHC :(

@RossWyatt charlie dont surf can be easy when everyone is in the broadcast room reload and sprint to their spawn which is where you go as soon as you see them frag then flashbang and kill the rest then go into their spawn and wait for your team to get there

Fake. If they hit you once, they don't stop, and you die in 2-3 shots. Also, as soon as you see a leg or an arm of them, you're about to get pounded. That's what makes it Veteran.

@jagriff333 As much as I hate to admit it (because I died like 300 times on ths level) It's def on Veteran. If you don't believe it look it up on the CoD Wikia. You only get 9 mins on Veteran. You get 11 or 15 on the other difficulties. Give credit where credit is due. jagriff333, you're sick bro. *thumbs up*
