These officers acted in good faith in the sense that they believed that there was a gun in the car and they were in danger of being run over, so they had to take action and should not be held accountable on those grounds. The public asks the police to go out and risk their lives everyday for their safety yet they crucify them when they do their job. Because cops in the white neighborhood don't have the stress level of inner city cops. Also whites are more likely to comply to cops then the blacks. Many blacks don't corroporate or comply with the cops in the urban area. Because of that, more incidents like this will arise and more cops will get an aquittal. Black people we need to wake up and change the ghetto.

The best body language etc. Also how u can hold an office accountable if u are unlawfully treated.This is a time to communicate because let's get real here, the police work for us when we can't call anyone else, the Police, the fire department r who we have to be able to rely on.

I don't know if Michael Moore's "The Awful Truth" will do any good being shown to police. I mean what can people REALLY do to show police that people are upset w/out killing or rioting? Not that I could do either one, but there are some whom believe this to be the only real solution. What can they really do? There has to some people who know the law (Weren't in court the day of this verdict) and can give actual advice on how to be heard the right way.

The cops had no reason for use of lethal force. And even if you some how try to justify it, you can't explain 50 shots (nor shooting at a moving vehicle, which is against the police regulations). These officers acted in good faith in the sense that they believed that there was a gun in the car and they were in danger of being run over, so they had to take action and should not be held accountable on those grounds. The public asks the police to go out and risk their lives everyday for their safety yet they crucify them when they do their job. In this case its a tragedy what happened, but those cops did not intend to kill anyone that night.

Cops used to reach out to the community for support. Now that they carry automatic weapons, they say, to hell with the community.
Judges now suck up to the political arena.
If you are a politician or a Wall Street Broker, you can buy a judge.

If they would have been 3 unarmed law enforcement officers and 3 young men opened fire on them because they were in fear for their life, then they would have locked them up then put them to death, but because they were cops, dont let it happen again officer cooper, but I wasnt there I really dont know what happened. While some of the police and people working in the system are good, decent people, they are part of a system that continually oppresses the have-nots, the minorities, and that's what's wrong. What good police officer has spoken out against this trial (and now verdict)? If some are good, why aren't they standing up for what is right?

When an officer puts on his uniform, his conduct speaks for every police officer on the force. All it takes is one rotten apple to spoil the entire bag! And if the laws are failing to protect ALL CITIZENS, the laws are failing - period.
