I've just watched another clip of this done by another ballet company on utube. They had proper Tu Tu's on and you could see their feet and legs perfectly. These dresses look lovely but are a bit long and full to see all the leg work. shame. Just my thoughts and opinions.

I find the whole dance beautiful except for their pas-de-chats. For some reason those seem clumsy, almost as if they're not keeping their backs straight.

@Rosamund2828 i totally agree with you. Their pas-de-chats are clumsy... and from that point the dancers loose some of their synchronism also.

anyway, the first part is almost perfect!

maybe the music is a little slow... and this makes easier all the choreography.

when we started grade 1 ballet our teacher took us to see swan lake but then in class she threw us in the deep end and made us learn the cygnet's pas de quatre (not en pointe though). one of the most difficult things i ever did...

the costumes look as if someone really mad just went and cut all of the costumes before the performance.... and the company couldnt do anything about it xD

@iInuYashaDem0n I agree - lovely sheen on the material but it spoils the look of the legwork for me. Dancer on the left looks like she is struggling - a tad too short for the other three? That makes a HUGE difference to this piece! Seen the RB do this much better, but never as snappy as the Russians! there's no excuse for dead shoes, spare pairs should be in the wings.

This dance has for me, shown more sadness and despair than any other dance in this ballet. I don't know why but its like the only dance that displays the terror and depression swan face in this ballet, don't ask me why. Vote this if you feel the same

This is great. Iohna Loots and Emma Maguire are some of my favourite ballerinas. It's nice to see them in one dance. I first saw them in the nutcracker. They're both very pretty too. All 4 girls are great too as ballet does requrie ALOT of work. "Kudos" to them :)
