You need blackberry desktop manager to insert those installer into your phone. Connect your phone from PC via USB cable.

i have the desktop manager but where would i find the apps to put them on to my bb? because when i go to add apps and go to open. i go to my downloads file and try to add them there but it doesn't work.

you need the apps or themes with .alx extension as well as .cod. Get those files at geekylocker.

Some themes are in .alx format, which means you need to download 1st to your PC. If the theme is in .jad, or if you find the OTA link, you can install directly from browser.
