We went into Basra to stabalise it for the people who live there. We did an excelent job and handed it back to the natives .If trouble kicks off there again we will go back in its that simple.

I am confused by your comment on my nationality,it should not make a difference, 100,000+ Scots took to the streets in protest against this war, while many others support it, I respect and admire our troops for what they do on our behalf but cannot agree with their being there. I know that there are soldiers who feel the same in our country too.

I'm scottish, my hometown has seen it's share of hatred and violence alledgedly in the name of religion(protestant and catholic),does this mean all christians are responsible for this because of the religion they follow or is it down to those who use religion as an excuse for their behavior.I believe that the same thing applies to all wars fought in the name of religion, there will always be innocent victims of poor political judgement,soldiers and civilians.
