I'm scottish, my hometown has seen it's share of hatred and violence alledgedly in the name of religion(protestant and catholic),does this mean all christians are responsible for this because of the religion they follow or is it down to those who use religion as an excuse for their behavior.I believe that the same thing applies to all wars fought in the name of religion, there will always be innocent victims of poor political judgement,soldiers and civilians.

I have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, where both times was attached to american soldiers, in Afghanistan this year we were having to pass magazines to each other, thats how close we were working together. Yanks and Brits true ally

Pollies do that for us, no a solider does his duty for you and me and be thankfull he does and when he/she comes home br gratefull to them - because you didnt have to go in their place. My boyfriend is British and in the Armed Forces of the UK and has done many tour's in both Iraq and Afghanistan and Northern Ireland and I am so proud of him and hope he and his comrade's will come home safely.

Hey "poopshoot12345" if you want to see the afghan and/or iraqui casualties, I suggest buying National Geografic, read history books, and the movie Osama (you can find it in blockbuster) you will see plenty, far more deaths that these wars will ever have. Educate yourself about how life was BEFORE our US troops and allies went to their RESCUE. No life should be lost but this is nothing compared to the atrocities the Taliban and that kind of scum inflicted.
