both Jordan and Egypt came to their senses and chose peace instead of war, they got back all their land, but there were 2 parts that was their land as well and they didn't want, prior to 1967 the west bank was part of Jordan, and Gaza strip part of Egypt. both left for Israel to deal with. If you are referring to 1947 the Arab countries attacked us, and we won, check the history books, they refused the land given to them by the UN.
