I have one, (a hello kitty one!), but the rice always comes out waaaay too sweet and sticky. I've tried so many different japanese rice brands! Does anyone recommend a good brand?

Steaming rice will normally cause rice to be sticky as it takes long to cook and the grain will absorb more liquid. Your better off using a standard medium grain rice and simmering it stovetop.
